If I remember correctly When I first came here in Dec 1989 it was 39 baht to the pound .

Early days yet , lets wait and see what the rate is 3 months down the line , the TD prophets of doom appear to think that todays rate is a permanent fixture .

It will end up 37 Baht to £1 and there will be a lot of jumpers without parachutes ,

Just watched Nicola Sturgeon saying that its almost inevitable that the sweaties will seek a second referendum on independence ,IMHO thats good news indeed .

HSBC are predicting 1.2 pounds to the dollar by the end of the year. That's about 41 baht at the current exchange rate. They don't say whether it will be gradual or sudden.
