^ Nevermind by Nirvana was the very last vinyl album I bought. Not long after it was released - 1991?
^^ that's correct, Nevermind was first released in 1991

Awesome Sumo, I want a runnaway. Quite the lookers then.Hey. I must say you have the most impressive collection of music I have ever seen. And its all at a snap of the finger any where any time. Cool.
^ Ditto
Well done Sumo - you have it all - I am really jealous!
Note the price. Great LP. at 30 cents a track.
Can we still be friends?
Crazy, but that's how it goes.
Iron man, Fun to play on the old Heath Kit amp. da du daum dum do de de da du da du daum.(rising tone--Falling tone.) In Laos this means peebaa. oops that was the other tune....Crazy..jow bo mee sumoong. Ok Im just having fun now. I'll go stand In the corner now.
Thanks much for the compliments.
With 3 terabytes of capacity in my PC and another 10 TBs on external hard drives, having all the music on hand to select in Foobar makes for an arrangement that is very flexible. I also collect movies which take up a lot of that external drive space.
Now if only I was younger and my memory better so I could recall what all is available in the collection. I sometimes set Foobar to randomly play tracks and that's one way of 'remembering' what's out there to play.
So I search all over Pakse for a Guitar cause I got withdrawals after a week of the doldrums in a month long stint at Maggie's Farm. Nothing but Chinese crap. Then on New years eve we went to my girls long time friends house for a party. A house on stilts open under lay out as you all are familiar with.
Then out came the big screen on the upper deck along with some nice speakers. Now I'm being force fed more Lao Lao and beer Lao than I could take, I actually began to drink myself straight again, as the dual cordless mic karaoke began.
Low and behold a local kid hears I'm looking for a fix and hooks me up with his axe. Not wanting to spoil this pass the mic party I throw Down with my rendition of eruption ( no Eddie am I) then some Ted (cat scratch) followed Jimmy's (Hey Joe).
Now I know I'm no good but the Kid is going wild about this little set and I had my fix so back to the dueling microphones. It's not my party to ruin with bad rock as they all love this group singing thing. More drink and more singing.
Anyhow the next day this kid 16 or 17 years old walked to our place, quite a ways out, carrying his guitar and had some littler ones carrying his amp.Go figure.
We spent hours exchanging riffs. He had a style of what he was familiar with and was damn good, better than me I thought. I would do some pretty complicated finger picking that I had played with for years and years, since I was 15, (Bron-Yr-Aur) to be precise and damn he could do it after a bit, pic style as it should be. I'm lazy and have played Acoustic mainly for the last 10yrs or so therefore its easy for me on individual strings with palm on the flat top.
Did some YES Round about harmonics stuff and of course,The Beatles Black Bird.
The wife says he is now in a band (I'm sure he was before) doing what I don't know. But let me tell you that those are the memories that make me a wealthy soul.
Foobar, Hell It took me an hour to write the last paragraph. I cheated my way through fifth grade spelling. If it weren't for spell checker I'd have no checks at all, Oh Oh Oh. Gloom despair and agony on me... Deep dark depression, excessive misery Oh Oh Oh. If It weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. Oh Oh Oh.
If you guessed Hee Haw you are correct on where I ripped that from.
If I had Sumo skills.....I guess I'll just keep on "Picken and a Grinnin."https://youtu.be/bXysRO11Xi8
