I'm trying to relax but I feel so helpless. I'd know exactly what to do in my home country but I haven't been in Thailand very long and I don't know much about the law, the police, or the price of things like glass and aluminium frames here.

So I feel very exposed to being manipulated and I don't want this situation to tarnish what a good time I've had working here so far. If it costs me 50,000 Baht it will tarnish it very much and I will consider quitting my job and going home, really. It will stop me feeling comfortable and relaxed in my daily life if I know I can be targeted and manipulated like this so easily.
