Is that farang a TD member?

Have you ever looked at another farang and wondered if they are one of us? Do you have an image in your head of what a particular poster looks like and sometimes see a farang who fits the image?

I remember a couple of years ago sitting on the Skytrain looking at a guy who could well have been Dr Pat Pong. Skinny, jeans, white T-Shirt and waistcoat with grey hair in a short ponytail. I refrained from asking and have since learned that it wouldn't have been as the real person is in his 40's and very tall.

You could be living next door to Sabang and not know it, you could be drinking next to Fast Eddie and not realize it.

If you meet a fellow farang and talk about Thai stuff, do you allow expat forums to creep into the conversation to see if they are somebody you may already know in the cyber world?

Last time I did this (a few days ago) it turned out to be Professor Fart! Before that knowledge it was just some guy I shared a table with before getting into a chat. When I told him who I was he couldn't believe it, I felt a bit like a celebrity! Anyway, from that point on we had loads to talk about and he told me some very interesting real life facts about other members we 'know'.

when i was in pattaya i kept wondering if any of the blokes were DD.

However none of them looked dirty enough
