Met Queen Liz and most of the other royals.

Was sitting in a Heathrow bar a few years back when joined by the Liverpool football team, Houllier, Hypia, Owen, Stevie G, Murphy etc; 5 hour flight delay to Bangkok and never offered to buy me a drink, cheeky buggers.

Toyah Wilcox kissed me once, she wanted more but her hubby Robert Fripp was around at the time. We also discussed the murder of her friend Jill Dando in some detail.

Met former PM Ted Heath, Leslie Thomas the author, Baron King of Bridgewater (Tom King). Michael Heseltine, Michael Portillo and a few other public servants.

I've never knowingly met a long term TD member.

I met Harry Dean Stanton, Brad Dourif, and John Huston when they were filming a movie in my hometown.

Talked to James Worthy standing line at the airport in Madrid.

Peter Buck, who shared a mutual friend, called me on the phone once to invite me to a concert.

Talked to Anton Lavey several times on the phone.

I was the only white in a social club in Port Royal, Jamaica in the early 60s listening to a Bob Marley single over and over all night.
Got stoned with the rasta faris while they described what they were going to do to the whites after the revelution.
Susanne Summers stood on my toe.
    Flew pigeons with Charley Tully.
Charlton Heston asked me what time it was in a bar in Palm Springs
Jumped out a plane just because a lovely blond chick asked me to do it.

Maybe, but I wouldn't have let her do that to me, even if she's related to the Sultan of Canberra...

A family member dated her (below) back when she was popular and he told me if she were to stand sideways in the shower she wouldn’t get wet.

I had sex with a girl (she was gorgeous and way over my head- I took her drag racing at an illegal late-night strip and it turned her on, I guess) who later did Bono- I scored extra points by getting there first.

I played basketball with Vinnie Testeverde (who was actually an NFL quarterback) and pool with Mika Immonen and Ko Pin Yi (both of whom beat me, unsurprisingly).

I had lunch with Abbie Hoffman after I attended one of his lectures at a local college (he committed suicide not long after, but I don't think there was any connection).

I sold video equipment to Howard Johnson (third-baseman/shortstop on the New York Mets championship team in 1986- he gave me playoff tickets), Joan Jett, and one of the guys from the Village People (the leather dude, I believe).
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I once went to a luncheon and talk by Douglas Adams (who wrote The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy series). Great guy. R.I.P.

My claims tend more towards notoriety. And one of my ancestors was one of the knights who killed Thomas Becket, Archbishop
    of Canterbury, in 1170.

My apologies to anyone related to him.

My old dad,now deceased, was in the same gun battery as Spike Milligan...Spike used dad's war diaries in writing his books with credit given. Mum and Dad were on "This is Your Life" with him. Mum did not like him at all...Never met him, arranged once when he was in Oz but it fell through...think he had completely flipped by then maybe.

Was in a CP Air lounge once and there was this blonde beauty to whom the the staff were very attentive..turned out it was Nicole Kidman....who the fk is Nicole Kidman I thought....!

It was claimed by the Chairman of the European Plastics Federation, who was also the Chairman of Mannessman Plastic Machinery, Wolfgand Von Schroeter during a board meeting in Dusseldorf that I had designed the best industrial packaging product ever invented. Just to have a meeting with this guy was considered impossible let alone receiving such a compliment.

I have met with and on rare occasions played a tune or two with some famous musicians but my favourite memory is sitting at the piano that Freddy Mercury wrote and played Bohemian Rhapsody on.
