Itnt has been stressed out about something in his personal life lately.

A couple of years ago I used to look forward to his incisive posts. More than a few times he was spot-on. But recently he got rather irritable at me on one thread, for no apparent reason, which I thought was a bit odd. Then a few days later on another thread he revealed he was stressed about something.

Would you like to elaborate about it, Itnt ? There are some of us who do lend a sympathetic ear.

It does seem a bit out of character . . . first the invective, f this an f that etc... and then just posting 'bullshit' etc...

I hope he's doing ok and it's not the sauce talking

My energy level is the problem. This last 3 yrs have destroyed me. Energy comes from being driven to a vision. At 60+ that's tricky. I have no intention of just drifting off into old age, zero point in that. Unfortunately money does not turn me on, neither does material possessions.

So I'm trying to find a direction, as I say other than geographic. Not much i haven't done. If I can find that then all will fall into place.
Good luck and I hope it all works out.

Maintaining good health is important in one's sixties. To make 'old bones' got to bank physical capital wherever possible.

Have you ever asked yourself why so many people get irritable with you?

You are like MrBean with your autistic-like lack of social awareness.

You might be able to provide a list for those ["so many"] who have come to be irritated with LD?

Hmmm....before casting accusing barbs, you might ask the same of yourself.
Clearly, no one comes close to an irritating cvnt that you can be.

    Have a lovely morn.

60 years old without a pot to piss in waxing about how he's contemplating suicide, rambling on about how money isn't everything then turning to a possible new career...just what don't you fellows get from this idiot?

Suicidal folks seek attention, nothing more...best wishes on your journey FF. Not a bad day or on the sauce, as I don't drink. I simply have a very low tolerance level for those who seek sympathy and have low reasoning skills.

As for other threads perhaps the same low tolerance levels applied there as well for different reasons.

One being the use of the word "Bigot," for an excuse for a social and biological failure in society. Easy to stand on the curb and toss off words of condemnation as a minority, using the free speech rule as your poster boy, but as a majority opinion free speech is not allowed.

Quite simple reasoning will make this topic understandable for those who only tolerate opinions and do not actually understand them. Biggot is the new word when racist just isn't enough or actually about a topic dealing in racial issues.

The biggot card...perfect when all other arguments fail.

Get it now folks? Nope! Thought so.

I think the difference being is that Itnt lives in Northern Thailand surrounded by mountains and is close to the Mekong.

Also has a very nice two story house surrounded by plenty of land to play in and at the same time happy to be surrounded by locals, no need to seek out farang company or go to a pub.

Its a beautiful part of Thailand where he is and far removed from a little village in dusty old Issan.

But I'm with you Nig, I could never do a village in Issan.

Not to many can and come out alive.

    ^

I was born in 57 so I don't remember that much about the sixties.

My mate over the road backed out a massive green shit behind the old man's chook shed one day.

I remember that and to this day ponder what the little fuker had been eating.

Maybe Paul Kantner from Jefferson Airplane...Though some say Charlie Fleischer, a comedian, first documented as late as 1982...

Apparently it took all of the 1970's to recover from the 1960's and create the quip...

I believe it was Abbie Hoffman.
Another one of those 60s radicals that eventually mellowed to the establishment.
