I recently is got castigated by a member for posting a 30-50 second joke in "quick" jokes..

Begs the question "what is quick"

Okay Thai centric:

...A simple bank transaction that perhaps should take perhaps 10 minutes..wife sits outside in truck ..I come back after 45 minutes.."that was quick deah"

...Contractor says he will arrive in two days and finish job in two days..turns up a week later...then it takes three weeks plus and he wants more than quoted price..QUICK?

Trouble is, what may take you 30-50 seconds to read might take some of TD's numpties an hour. And they still won't get the joke.

A quick joke is a quick joke. Not a shaggy dog story!

Words like quick, slow, fast are comparative. So for something to be quick it has to be compared to something that is slow, which is the case of the written word would be long-winded.

Post it, wtf if longer than one line it'll need too much focus to be read by most members.
