I'm always amazed at the amount of alcohol people drink on TD . . . I might have a glass of wine/sake at dinner or a glass/bottle of Pernod/Corona on a sunny afternoon . . . thats it. Certainly not a daily thing.

For me I drink because quite frankly I enjoy the taste. Do I need it every day, Naaah. But I do enjoy a fine spirit at the end of a day. Quite relaxing and I have reached an age where I earned it. I do know a few however that drink 10 to 15 beers a day or drink out of boredom nearly all day and it has had an adverse impact on their lives, both mentally and physically
IMO many people find ways to relax, whatever works. I also know a few that thought that running marathons, competing in triathlons, rock climbing etc was their ticket to relaxing. I see them now and one has had a hip replacement, another both knees are shot and the rock climber fell some years back and broke his back and is in constant pain.
I think I'd much prefer a drink.....

Well they're apparently good enough for you to type out again an hour later.
Admittedly that isn't saying much.
^ where are the other members, you know Leo, the old bloke, the grindr bloke who's teaching his brother to eat with a spoon, 99 Baht and the doggie dude.
The only thing Budweiser ever did for me was give me massive headaches. Panther piss we called it...
