Fancied a wee dram o' Single-Malt, so from a pretty limited selection, went for a liter of Fiddy 12 yr old when passing Villa.








Tasty wee sip with a drop o' chilled mineral water to open her up a bit.

I was at Simbury's in Pattaya today and they had a special on imported British Cheese and Red wine and it was a special treat.

Free samples at the cashiers counter and I did indulge.

Out for Italian later so I shall mostly be drinking copious amounts of red wine.

6 different types of cheese and the extra tasty cheese was superb.

I did wonder why Siambury's was so busy today! And no balloons outside!

And no sign of Dilly either!

Cider!!

Strongbow Gold Apple cider - only 42 baht in the 7-11 for a 330ml bottle.

Not the best cider you can buy but good enough for 42 baht and finding it in the 7-11 is a bonus.

Oddly enough I haven't cider since I was a teenager. And my God did we have a lot then.

Odd as Thailand's climate is suited to a pint glass of cider with a few ice cubes if sitting outside.

Sounds good JPPR2. I picked up two cases of Leinenkugel's and got a free Summerfest ticket. That and a shot of Evan Williams while I do a few odd jobs I've been putting off.

Had a pretty heavy weekend, which is an uncommon occurrence for me these days- for the last year tbh cos' I needed to cut down a bit. Went to Bedford to hang with friends and supped the many great local ales of Bedforshire in the sun

Tonight it's no more Capt. Silly- I'm on the club soda and slice of lime till the weekend.
