I did find a bottle of Spitfire a while back to toast the arrival of my Iron Cross 2nd Class but I have not found a bottle of Lancaster anywhere to go toast the DamBuster's special build in the background

1/48 scale Thunderbolts are like No.9 buses. You wait years for one and then 3 come at once.

The new one has exceptional weathering and cockpit detailing to justify a doubler/tripler acquisition (at least that was the rationale I used on myself while justifying the purchase).

Test driving the drinks cabinet to decide what concoction to leave out for Santa on Friday night...

Popped my Midori cherry and the one on the left is a 50/50 Tia Maria and Cointreau

Another 4 different ales to devour tonight and a couple more glasses swiped from the boozer..
