My last box of red wine of the trip. Flight booked back to Bangkok next Tuesday and i can't wait.
Should be back on the Ya Dong by next weekend!
In the meantime... Tonight it's snowing outside, so in bed by 7pm with a big glass of red wine, a pizza and a plan to watch a few episodes of Peaky Blinders.
As good as it gets in Norway! Gato Negro? Black Cat I guess!

Got a colleague flying in next week with 2 bottles, French Oak and Mongolian Oak. Buffalo Trace Bourbon's are always extremely good.

This was a very reasonable 349 NOK = 1200 Baht for 3 litres. That works out at around 300 Baht a bottle. I've noticed before that despite being one of the lost expensive countries on the planet, wine can be cheaper here than it now is in Thailand.
^ This was in fact one of the best pizzas I've had during this trip in Norway - but the bar is very low.
Nice, did you do the tour?
Could sink a few of them right now.
Whats that pink shit on the plate?
I guess it depends on the size of the bottle. I was working on 750cl...
But either way, expensive in Thailand!
^ 5km in 33 mins is good going with some 9% Shochu in ya. Was handed a half full liter bottle of Chivas 12 years old this afternoon. No time like the present.
Homemade wine is cheap. It's also ridiculously simple to make. It's not the worst tasting wine you'll drink and it'll clock in at maybe 12 - 15 horsepower (no idea on exact figures as I haven't any fancy hydrometer and such).
^^ Redeemed from Big C card points.
It's 11:30am, I'm the only person in Oslo airport wearing a short sleeved shirt and I just paid 11 quid for a crappy pint.
But I don't care, cos I'm going home!

It's 11:32am... the pint wasn't so bad after all... hic... and my plane awaits!
Think there's time for a couple more!
Cheers everyone!

Cheers, safe travels.
Had a colleague bring me this special little bottle from the states. All small batch runs.
Have to crack it this Friday. I love the last line of the comment....
Nose: Warm mellow spices on the nose like allspice and cinnamon with some orangey fruit
Palate: Fresh fruity notes then pungent and spicy with a little tobacco character
Finish: Chocolate on the finish but with a nice savoury edge, good length
Overall: Distinctive and effortlessly drinkable. According to Pickerell: "It's for people who want to drink whiskey all day long.”
