^An eclectic selection of brews there Willy
I am still on the paddy piss.
The problem with these 1/35 tanks is that they make the planes look too small so I am having to move the squadron up a notch.

Starting with a Mosquito from 633
Good stuff, one of my top tipples is the blonde Erdinger. Have had 3 or 4 of those glasses over the years, unfortunately each one succumbed to kitchen sink/draining board accidents. Had a limited edition World Cup 2010 one that was molded like a football on the upper third, a chick broke that one while doing the washing-up and I remember arriving home to an ashen faced Asian that meekly sat me down to inform me of the bad news. :)
More autumnal rouge bubbles on this cool evening

There is something curiously menacing about the design language of so many of the Luftwaffe's aeronautical creations, and their flying boats are no exception
This is a Blohm und Voss Bv-138
Spilled a bit of wine mate.
^ Obviously not into the flower vase.
Poor sods need chucking out to put them out of their misery.
Ooooh
:wank:
The yellow flowers did feature in her X-rated Gardeners World photo shoot. But they are everywhere at the moment.
It is a flowering pea plant with long runner bean pods that would have Mendip out with his harvesting basket. I cut some flowers for the kitchen but they do not fare well once cut and crumble to a petal carpet in less than a day. Some kind of variety of Erythrostemon Mexicanus I think.
Circular leaves and bright yellow flowers in large bushes. Growing everywhere in the forest in autumn. It is a veritable sea of Chinese chrysanthemum yellow out there at the moment.
Last of the rouge bubbles to celebrate an approved 1.9% budget increase in defence spending, affording a long overdue squadron upgrade for the legend F-15 and F-16 from 1/72 to 1/48 scale as part of the defence capability readiness to meet the medium-term threat-level increase in Asia-Pacific region

This was drunk some days ago, it has taken me a while to 'fess up to it.
The gf saw it in Makro and asked to try it and maybe it is worth agreeing with some suggestions, very occasionally.
You get a fancy bottle full of raspberry fizz with a massive 3% alcohol content. For the stupid price of 280B, which is 7 quid, which would score you a drinkable bottle of wine in a UK supermarket.
She enjoyed the palaver associated with opening the bottle and she enjoyed the pink colour and she enjoyed the raspberry flavour. She liked it. That is about the only good thing I would say about it.
^ That's a extra 280B on your regular Makro visits from now on. :)
I have considered this disagreeable possibility. Fortunately, I don't drink beer and Makro has no gin so there is no need for us to stray into that far corner of the store. If I see her meandering in that direction I shall outright lie, tell her I came alone yesterday for the sole purpose of buying her preferred tipple but, sadly, they were out of stock.
Half of what I ever want in Thailand seems to be 'moot laew', so my innocent falsehood will be readily accepted.

Although I'm not a great drinker, I read about this new beer from Lao Breweries. It's a tasty lager, 4.5%.
The comments that I'm reading on FB about this beer is nothing to do with its taste etc. Rather, people are saying that it's a very good PR idea by Lao Breweries :) The country is somewhat fcuked up by the closure of 90% of hospitality businesses, and any PR about Luang Prabang has got to be good. In my local supermarket, this beer was flying off the shelves!
Lemon juice and soda water.

Has anyone tried the new San Miguel Wheat beer (5.4%)?
The Thai made ones are crap and 4%.
Should be easier to fuxing buy here, then. :)
Thought Tops in Central would be a winner, to no avail. None in the 7-11s.
Saw some in Tesco last week, so might make a run there tomorrow. 5.4% blonde bier (getting arty-farty with me terminology) may be right up me Lulu.
Anyone know if it's available in anything other than 330ml bottles?

Have 490ml cans in other ASEAN countries, hopefully will become widespread here.

Ahhh Yes, Friday again. Just poured me my 2nd Herradura Reposado marg and sitting by the pool with my mist fan keeping me comfy. I bet Seekingasshole wishes he could use his pool..... Lord I apologize, its tough being trapped.:)
Dinner menu is a Ribeye off the grill with some sliced Italian spiced olive oil taters and likely more tequila.
Happy Friday
Speckly hen with my autumn cigarette.

Upgraded the brutal take-no-prisoners A-10 to 1/48 and went with the rare night-fighter twin-seat prototype variant.
^ have you tried the old crafty hen? a very nice tipple and comes in at 6.5%
A weird pineapple tea made with one of our homegrown pineapples. Cut off the outside of your pineapple, place in a pot with a couple of cardamon pods and some turmeric root and boil it 30 minutes.... strain and drink... delicious. Great use of something you would normally throw away.
^
Q. Why did the crafty old hen not cross the ocean to the land down yonder?
A. Because Dan Murphy's did not order any yet
But I will keep my cockless ear to the ground Barry

Cleared out the last 9 bottles at Tethco.
Just the bugger of buying from a supermarket shelf is you gotta wait for them to get cold. -_-
its ok, better than a lot of the wheat types you get in 7, the beer Lao IPA (ish) is better
this evening ill be on the shochu bus mostly
What’s this like?

The Dutch Mill brand is 39 baht for 28g of protein.
CP Meiji have protein drinks at 49 baht for 27g of protein.
You can often buy them discounted. I bought three Dutch Mill chocolate ones today for 28 baht each - sell buy date 10 May 2021.
They are convenient and a useful size for me but I also make my own at home most days.
Nice on Nev, prefer the strawberry myself.
Those chocolate ones are far too sweet for me.
One shake before and one after a workout makes a massive difference.
Never had that one, as after watching 'That sugar film' I prefer a lower sugar intake.
iirc it's listed at 23g of sugar, 4g is equal to one teaspoon. The DM or Meiji ones I use are 5g and 7g.
Definitely, still a bit fizzier than I prefer in a wheat beer. But will have a better judgement after the next 8 of them. :)
Having a late Indian summer in the autumn down under so cue the icy cold bubbles.

Eurofighter Typhoon leads the squadron out today to show a united western front standing shoulder to shoulder against the enemies of democracy.
Lol, I notice Barbie has seen the light and been converted by her Jesus type lover.
Btw im back on the piss, for one night only...
