It looks quite good!! :)
I had this sitting around for a bit, and thought I'd try it. Definitely delish! Ale mixed with spices like cloves and pumpkin spice. It is quite good!!

20 years sober last month :) Drinking tea.
How do you know if someone is an alcoholic?
Dont worry, they'll fvcking tell you..
It looks like there will be no booze here until this lockdown is done, and as we all know those can last months. So, it will be soft drinks and tea for the time being. Glad I got a bender in last weekends with friends- Mongolians sure know how to drink and have a good time. Looking forward to that again
I haven't drunk any alcohol for months., (purely because I couldn't be bothered to buy anything...). But these photos encourage me to see what's available in the supermarket in town (Chinese place, so I doubt that there is a full range of CAMRA recommendations...)
A cheeky little jock-juice tonight upon hearing about the first major competition qualification since France 98

Pool almost done, celebrating Thanksgiving a day early
Cracked me a bottle of 5 year aged Anejo tequila from my "Private Reserve". :)

Fucking rosehip and hibiscus tea because the mayor of Ulaanbaatar lost his temper after being mocked so he extended the booze ban.
It tastes a teeny tiny bit like red wine, at least that is the comforting thought I am allowing myself.

Tonight I will sample some more 0% beers. Please oh please let this ban end on the 11th as mooted, could a dull holiday otherwise.
Baubly bubbles in a freezer fresh frosty glass while watching the crimbles and waiting for my man-size lasagne to bake

I had the first signs of a cold, which needed nipping in the bud, so it's brandy sours for me tonight. Anyway, I was wondering about using bourbon and came across the New York sour variation...

Has a drop of red wine drooled over the top and looks pretty good.
I shall have to experiment with some green chartreuse added first to make a Traffic Light...
Day 33: I found beer!

Not my usual brew by any means, but it tastes and feels so good.
Smirnoff Ice, green apple flavour.
Yeah, I really pushed the boat out this evening, snubs. That's the way I roll. :)
Actually, I just fancied the apple flavour - and that part of it is good. But I can't taste any vodka at all. I wonder if it has any. Hang on, I'll check. ...
... Apparently not. It says it is 'fruit wine'. :smileylaughing:
I've been had ... fooled by he 'Smirnoff' name. The buggers.
Another drop of yuletide bubbles to accompany the festive military aviation fun of Operation Christmas Drop
Good frothy head on this one...

Lockdown is over so we pushed the boat out last night. Hello holidays and a Google Hangouts free month or so.Bliss.
some IPAs for lunch, now some Talisker for evening. Truly my favourite drink right now.
^^Very impressive Mandaloopy. If I ever take up TEFLing it looks like Ulaanbaatar is the place to coin it in!
I occasionally splash for the real thing at home but I have never bought it in a pub
How much is a bottle in a bar in Outer Mongolia?
This is a glass of modest but very tasty Aussie bubbles with tonight's movie Happiest Season

And Miss Surabaya?
Top slosh Willy
Miss Surabaya has gone dark.
Not a blip on the radar for nearly 2 months.
Looks like her huge black mamba ecky thump double penetrator vibrator has seen me off and won the day.
I humbly concede defeat to a worthy adversary.
Shame
A rather nice ruby port accompanied by Stilton blue cheese on crackers.
Lush:)
^ Classy!
Crisp and refreshing, came in a handy portable cardboard suitcase. Only £10...

Cracked open a brand new bottle of my second favouritest favouritest drink in the whole world (after Licor Cuarenta y Tres) to go with the annual viewing of the ever great 2009 Scrooge

A nice drop.

A Mongolian IPA and I must say after a shitty Zoom meeting with admin this hits the spot rather nicely.
I got truck load of wanker beers for chrissy and working thru them.
Gwei Lo Rainbow Sherbet Sour - yes I too thought WTF. But its really good - sour and sort of a sherbet taste - 7.2% so has a bit of kick
Would love to try one out of a tap.

Rocky Ridge Baby Peach NEIPA - only 4% but tastes great . Had it a pub off the tap - even better. Got one for a mate who always scoffs at the 'wanker beers' I drink - he was shocked at how good it was.

^Careful you don't lose the password to your bitcoin hard drive while you are on a Dom Perignon bender Manda!
Also not to be picky but for the Dom you need more elegant flutes. Those square bottoms do not cut it IMHO
If it hits $50K then don't worry about flutes formality - just use the dimple beer mug!
Pooving it up with a sweet clear cider.

This cute little French 1916 Nieuport-11 is fitted with 8 of the the world's first air-to-air missiles.
They were firework-like rockets designed to attack german Zeppelins and observation balloons with incendiary charges. They were so inaccurate that the pilot had to get within a 100m of the giant airship before firing. They were fired electronically from the cockpit (so the pilot did not have to climb out onto the wing with his zippo lighter).
I tried the "new" Chang Espresso tonight. God it was awful. Black Dragon from the same brewery is marginally better.
Yes I know they are both local swill but sometimes.......
I could not walk past Licor Cuarenta y Tres on sale at $45
Splash of bubbles to celebrate a chance to stockpile my favourite liqueur

The cute little Nebelwerfer on the left was one of the first ever battlefield rocket launchers. Designed by those rocket-scientist boffin-boxheads right at the start of WWII.
Nicknamed Screamin Mimi by the allies...
