Give him a few months in uniform, preferably with a parachute on his back since that is what he wants and then see if he feels like bragging about his superiority.

A guy I went to school with was like this; full of it and a real thug with it. After a few months in the army with real men he learned to keep it shut. He never did let on what they did to him but he had learned words such as "please" and "thankyou" when I last saw him.
