I would bet this feller thought he was in paradise at one point,now its certain he would fare much better in his native country.

Ran into a female about 40'ish down on Silom one night three years ago or so. She was hawking her gash for heroin. Nasty looking thing, ten mile eyes and face looked like it had been beaten by a meat cleaver. She rushed up to me from a semi-dark alley as I was passing by and made an offer. Scared the shit outa me at first. American all the way.

Same all over the world I suppose, drugs and alcohol take their share of corpses. Not something one expects to encounter in Thailand, but it is reality. Sad case, but Bangyai said it well. Some folks just can't be helped.

I would like to say its simply because the bib are fully aware that these chaps will be penniless overstayers with no passport. If bib arrest them, they will go to court, and then stay in the idc until they can buy passage to their home country..... Something with the real potential to be a death sentence. So out of a kindness they cut these chaps some slack and ignore them.

However the reality is probably... The bib know thatwhatever they do there's no money in for them. However if they arrest these chaps, without money for medical treatment they will never be fit for court. As a result they will stay in the police cells, with other prisoners beating them and taking their food until they finally stave, naked chained to the cell bars.... Most police stations outside pattya just would not want the hassle.

Hence these these tramps don't get arrested and deported

Maybe he should commit a petty crime to get banged up!

The poor cnut would be better off as surely then he would end up getting deported.

His native country will have some form of welfare system that will see him living in far better conditions than he is now (Housed with a bed ).The boiling hot weather is not nice 24/7 don,t suppose the poor cnut has air con under that bridge!let alone a shower and toilet.
