How bad can this NY hotel be. How seriously do you take reviews?

So I booked this hotel> it was the only one available last minute in New York city.

    Some reviews...

    Please, avoid this place!PostedAugust 8, 2012

The worst place that i've ever been!!!! I don't recommend to anybody. The bathroom is a big mess and is dirty everywhere. The room is very small and everything smells very bad! Is better to spend 10 bucks more per day to be in a better place than being there!

Who wants to spent money for nothing?PostedSeptember 21, 2012

I think that the word HOTEL in connection to this house is absolutely wrong. Better is to stay on JFK airport or a railway station in the waiting room.

cheap but everything else very badPostedAugust 29, 2012

cheap but nothing else. really small nosiey dirty.

Anyway I don't care. Its a place to pass out and shower. That's it. I found decent hotels for the same price but they were not downtown. This place is pissing distance from ground zero. I wont be spending a ton on Taxi's.

Plus I like staying in dumps ounce and awhile. I stayed in a 150 baht a night room in BKK just for the fun of it

    Socal,

I would stay in Hostel when I hung out in NYC. There are a few hostels in Manhattan and they let US citizens stay there if you have an out of state license and are "visiting" or travelling.

You may be Canadian (I cannot remember) so that would even be easier.

The hostel are clean, secure, and quiet. Mostly Europeans staying there.

Last time I stayed in NYC on my own dollar I stayed at the Chelsea Hotel, which was as expected a dump- and a sleazy, druggy one at that. But I wouldn't have had it any other way.

That's the hotel where Sid Vicious stabbed Nancy Spungeon to death. Seems a really nice place.

Leonard Cohen boned Janis Joplin there too, and wrote a great song about it:

Chatted with a cute white bicth the whole flight from Montreal to NY. Just had some WOP food at Mama Sborres at the end of time square. They charge By the pound. Had spaghetti and Greek salad. I want to find a nightclub or something close.

My worst Bangkok hotel experience was the 400 Baht Siphraya Hotel way past Silom.

After dark the sheer number of cockroaches in the room was scary. I cowered on my bed and left at 6am the next morning. I suppose if I'd had ten bottles of Chang I'd have ended up creating two cockroach teams to play a game of football against eachother

Ahh Khao San.. i thought as much

Little do most people realise you can stay in some respectable nice places for less than 500baht - If you're prepared to get into the Residential 'Thai' areas of Bangkok. Only a few stops away on the MRT or BTS

    I stayed here for 400baht

Spb Paradise Hotel Bangkok Thailand - Best discount hotel rates

Fantastic place. Huge rooms with Sofa and big bed... Very clean, bathtub, hot shower, free golf cart to the MRT.. Most people staying there were Chinese or Thai.. no Farangs in sight.

Sarasinee Mansion for 500 Baht a night in Intamara 22, Huay Kwang. Bargain and a great coffee shop full of talent, run by the local police.

Spent $45 on a beer and hookah near time square. Fuck was it good hookah though..And the place was loaded with stun kunts.

Seen wall street and ground zero today. The actuall memorial is gay cuz u have to reserve a spot online so I never went.

One thing I notice, where ever I go, I am the minority. The white male is becoming a collectors item. This one nigger asked if I was German today. I just told him to fuck the Germans.

and I went to see Fox News. I seen Andy Leevy from Red Eye having a smoke outside.
