The correct way to brew Tea

This is a subject of vital importance to all civilized members of TD (I.e. Seppos, Aussies and other Johnny Foreigners are not qualified to comment on this thread)

Here is the approved standard method of preparing the drink of the gods as prepared by the British Standards Institute: http://sub.spc.org/san/docs/BS6008.pdf

This is obviously for people who use teapots, which is no one nowadays, other than the queen, and maybe Bono.

However, one thing that gets me about tea making is when people put the milk and teabag in the cup and then pour in the hot water. This is plain wrong, and is usually done by some simpleton pleb. Clearly the tea bag is put in and the hot water poured onto the teabag to bring out the flavour. Then the milk is poured in once the tea bag is removed.

tea bag in cup . add hot water . stir then wait . stir again then remove tea bag or as I would leave tea bag for a stronger brew.
add sugar. stir then when you've a good swirl in the cup add milk(if you like). done .
