Well PP is what you want him to be- Troll, agent provocateur, Bigoted Yank or realist. He certainly gets the post count up, and thrives on controversy. He has been on all the Pattaya boards, and banned from a couple. Even where he is banned, he is around somewhere.
There is allegedly an underlying character of American descent living east of Sukhumvit. If I have met him I don't know it, but at least one well known BM claims to have met him in person.

I wish I had never started it; that con-man completely pulled the wool over my eyes, it was all a big scam he'd orchestrated to generate buzz for the re-opening of the forum he'd dramatically closed a month or so before.

Nah, that was all just more bullshit to generate publicity for his forum. His only health problem is common-or-garden schizophrenia, mixed with alcoholism - which probably is killing him, just not fast enough.
