The matter I wish to discuss is not a joke. The moderator who deleted the post will know this. I'd like him to message me, in the strictest confidence.

Most are available for contact....and reasonable if not presumed to be a trivial matter.

Thanks, it's not trivial. I would be very happy to receive a copy of the deleted post if it has not been totally deleted from the forum system. No mention will be made of the post nor will it ever be reproduced here or anywhere else.

Don't be such a fool ! It wasn't my post. The moderators know exactly what the post was and its possible importance. It was on the forum for too short a time for me to print it out.

You really are very thick. How the hell can I write a PM to a poster who has now been deleted from the forum ? He's been deleted from the membership. Only ever made one post and that's the one I need.

I repeat my request for a copy of that post to be sent to me.

it was someone else's post, we know that now

it was possibly important, we know that now

the poster only made that one possibly important post before being deleted, we know that now

When you talk to them, tell them how to delete posts from the forum in a way which does not allow them to be recovered by somebody like me. The post is now with the appropriate authorities. I swear that you would be praising me , instead of taking the piss, if you knew what I had done. So, I'm going to tell you.

Just over ten years ago I was teaching English in Pattaya. In the August of that year, a young Welsh girl was raped and murdered in Chiang Mai. Her parents live only a few miles away from me. Her killer is still at large. Today a post appeared which related to the murder. I realise that it could have been complete drivel made up by a nutcase but such things are not for me to decide. The post is now in the hands of the Dyfed Powys Police Force for them to decide if is of any help.

Good one mate and I hope this information helps the police to apprehend the murderer.

I hope for the best, but I think the culprit is basically known- it's fingering him that's the problem, given his BIB connections.
