I missed a few of the local Thai bulletins on the news today and was just wondering if Phuket had sunk and if it really was the end of the world?

I really was hoping it would be as my mother in law should be arriving in Phuket as I type this......her weight might tip the balance.

I was so disappointed seeing all those terrible road accidents in Phuket today, and her name never got a mention!

I really hoped the Phuket hospitals would telephone and ask for vampire blood - and I would refuse or send some food colouring or a bottle of Ketchup instead, or even name my price for milking blood from the garden snails, but it all came to nothing, it would appear she has survived!

Then again, she is only half way- she still has to get back in one piece.
