I wan't very serious about the TD being "not classy". I think generally you guys do a pretty decent job of it. --- And you're not trying to screw people with questionable stories and shady advertising -- hey that's a novel idea, where did you guys come up with that?

We did think about it, but banning people like thaivisa and ajarn do when people question their advertisers ethics, well we decided against those sort of companies, I really don't think the mods or admins on here really want to waste their time protecting companies of a dodgy nature, much easier to get advertisers that are reputable, hell 90 percent of the restaurants i go to I wouldn't allow to advertise on here, it would be like, "well there burger aint shite, it just don't taste very nice", maybe I should eat at more upmarket places

I just dont see Galts point; why do this to Stickman? Ok he was a teacher and also was around the go-go bars, i understand that this isnt approved of and i agree that he should of chose one or the other. But publicly "outting" him with pictures and information all over the forums and internet! I think that was out of order and just well being a prick.

I quite enjoyed stickmans site, the letters he got were always interesting and it's a shame the site has closed down because i guess it did help quite a few people know about what the bar scene is really like. Maybe he should of chose one or the other but whats it anyone business that he does when he isnt working?

We could look at this 2 ways, lets say he is an Aussie teacher in Aussie land who is found to frequent brothels, would the Aussie public accept that little Johnies religious instruction teacher visits brothels?

Or we could look at it the Thai way where teachers are held in high esteem and are highly respected, I never took my galfriend to the bars that I frequent when she was working at her school, it just would have been unacceptable.

Here is another factoid that you might find interesting....

When in the US, I had a couple of relationships and other sorts of various connections with female teachers. They would say that that in secret - teachers tend to really cut loose outside the classroom. They are some of the wildest people in private. I guess this has something to do with being bottled up inside a class-room "prim and proper" everyday.
