Australia have been incredibly lucky all morning.
Apparently Warner has been bowled off a no ball six times in his test career.![]()

Crickey, with the Nut bowling Warner will be eyeing a double ton before tea
Leach going at 10s and the Oz RR creeping up towards ODI levels![]()
This on cricinfo seems to sum up the Eng Ashes so farI imagine Joe angrily chewing his grass fed aussie ribeye
12.05pm: It's hard to imagine how the first four sessions of this game could have gone any better for Australia. Lose the toss, bowl the opposition out for 147 while taking every single chance, then bat in bright sunshine on the second morning after the rain saves you from starting in the gloom on the first evening, reaching 113 for 1 at lunch. Robinson struck early to remove Marcus Harris but Warner and Labuschagne have put on 103 for the second wicket, surviving several half-chances. England haven't bowled too badly, but had no real luck and will be deeply concerned by Leach getting hit out of the attack. Plenty for Joe Root to mull over lunch.
and ouch
Ben: "What even is the point of the Australian leg of the Ashes? We're well on our way to 14 Oz wins in 15 tests here. Just hand the Ashes back to Australia after a couple of years and let England try and win it when they've got the Duke to help level the playing field."
Has someone secretly switched Eng into Keystone Cops mode. I not sure how worse it could be atm.
Warner's a white cat ... how many lives has he had today?
BTW, Poms, don't despair, the Adelaide test will be different.
Leading by 38 runs on Day 2 with two out . . . no need to rejoice yet as we saw with the Kiwi collapse in India . . . though it does look mighty fine!![]()
Come on everybody, sing along!
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
etc.
Back to the pie shop for Green!
First ball!

That’s a better session for England
^^ Very unfair HW... you're showing your bias now.
I thought we were in with a shout right up until the rain clouds blew away.
^You're a very real chance of getting rolled by an innings and change on day 3 in a rain affected Test. There's unfair, and there's realistic![]()
laugh it up, the officials haven't fully scrutinised the footage yet to find out which rules the Aussies have decided to liberally interpret during the match.![]()
Anyway, forgetting England's immediate problems, as is traditional in times of hardship how about some cricket trivia to take our minds off things...
Did you know that Ken Broad (today's much missed Stuart's Grandfather and an England opener in the 80s) lived in the same Somerset village I grew up in and have just been staying in with my mum, until he passed away at the age of 102, I believe.
Stuart Broad's Grandmother lived in the village until she passed away very recently (also into her 100s), RIP.
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
HEY YEY YEY YA
etc.
Come on, work damn you.
^ Perfect . . . no time for a bout of the SADs
Also pretty perfect
But . . . this is Australia, a collapse is always around the corner . . . or drawing a test even with such an advantage.
Yeah, I’m not counting any chickens just yet…
^ And that is the beauty of test match cricket.
It still seems the Aussies have batting issues but their bowling attack appears to be far superior to England's.
Today's first session will be interesting.
