Reports in Spain claim that Perez has verbally agreed terms with Mourinho to take over Real Madrid and that it should be announced after the Champions League final. In turn Inter Milan will convince Rafa Benitez to replace Mourinho. These two managers will then go head to head in a fight to sign Gerrard, but he will snub both of them to stay with Liverpool and play under new manager Ian Dowie!

Not sure about Gerrard staying. His patience must be very thin now. No prospect of Liverpool achieving anything with Hicks and Gillete as owners, and even less chance if Benitez stays.
Dowie is a good championship manager, nothing more.
    Rumour or nightmare?
