Powerful side are England under such overseas guidance.

3rd ODI on
Australia won the toss and asked England to bat.
Cummings into Roy, 1st ball ... HOW'S THAT was the question?
Obviously, not out as Cummings into Roy, 2nd ball.
... HOW'S THAT was the question?
OUT
England 1 for 0
Then England 2 for 2
A few sundries and then a dismissal later England are 3 for 6
The captain steadies the ship with a nice cover drive ... grabs two.
England are 3 for 8 then, the unthinkable happens, England sink to 4 for 8.
While I'm typing this ... England lose another England are 5 for 8 after the 7th over.
I piss you not!
^So the 5-0 ODI whitewash by the unwashed is looking a bit shaky?.
What a great day for tv sports, got the cricket + golf in Dubai with some big-guns in the field + FedEx plays some young Korean guy who's slaying all comers for a place in the Australian Open tennis final. Will relocate to a sports bar with multiple screens this afternoon for sure.
I don't really follow cricket and I know this isn't exactly the correct thread for it (apologies) but this article on how the IPL auction functions - or to be precise doesn't function - is quite fascinating:

England managed to recover to 196 off 45 overs.
A pitch can't be judged until both teams have played on it.
Aussies turn next.
Travis Head got them across the line just.
3-1....etc
5th and last (in Australia) ODI between the Aussies and the Poms.

Aussies won the toss and sent the soap dodgers in.
At the new Perth Stadium ... first serious game being played there apart for the local big Bash comp.
England at the end of the 13th over are 1 - 83 @ about a run a ball.
Roy was out early on but ... wait on ... part of the bowlers foot must be BEHIND the crease.
Come back Roy and bash again! 49 off 50 ... something like that before he was out (again).
Bairstow on 21(34) and Hales on 10 (10)
After this, we are off to the land of the long white cloud or, as the Aussies prefer to say ... across the ditch (NZ)
I'll defer to Ant to keep you posted there.
England all out for 259 on 47.4. The way they were batting they obviously think that's enough.
Re the 20/20 it's a tri-series so the first lot of fixtures are in convictlandia.

I actually thought the convicts had a chance of winning this one but they seem determined to fuck up again.
210/8, need 50 off 54 and the run rate is on the decline.
247/9 13 off 12.
Tim Payne could save this.
Hahahah I jinxed the fucker.
England win by 12 runs.

Well that's the way to wrap up a game.

ICC finds no evidence of Ashes match-fixing in third Australia versus England Test
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has found no evidence of match-fixing in the third Ashes Test between Australia and
England in Perth last December.
An investigation was launched following allegations in English newspaper The Sun that
underground bookmakers from India had offered to sell undercover reporters information about spot-fixing ahead of the match at the WACA ground.
"We have carried out an extensive global investigation with anti-corruption colleagues from member countries based on
the allegations in The Sun and the material they shared with us," ICC anti-corruption general manager Alex Marshall said in a statement.
"I am satisfied that there is no evidence to suggest any match has been corrupted by the individuals in the investigation nor is
there any indication that any international players, administrators or coaches have been in contact with the alleged fixers."
The Sun raised the allegations in a front-page report on the eve of the third Ashes Test, claiming its investigators posed as
financiers for illegal London bookmakers during the alleged sting.
The ICC's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit immediately launched an investigation.

I doubt any other T20 side have a top order batting side as powerful as Australia have at the moment.
Warner, Short, Lynn, Maxwell and then Finch comes in 5th drop. WOW!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder Smith can't get a run these days.
I think the aussies 1 day 50 over team will improve in the near future.
Kiwis 9/2.
Looks a batsman's paradise too.
Great catch by Willey.
