That video is speculation. And he's not hurting "again", it's the same injury. Trying rehab before choosing season ending surgery is always the best option. Trade him? Who's gonna trade for a goalie that might be out for the season, if that is the case? He's got plenty of years left in him, quit being such a knee jerking debbie downer. Goaltending still isn't the Canucks biggest problem.

Demko's injury derailed the season the year previous when it was Spencer Martin and Delia. He's injury prone.

Yaroslav Askarov is a top goalie prospect in Nashville who just publicly requested a trade. It would be a shrewd move to acquire him in a 3 way trade

The US played Canada in an ice fighting game last night.

Here's what happened to the American national anthem:

Is there a National Hockey League (NHL) for field hockey?

In various different countries, yes. And as field hockey is way more popular than ice hockey I feel that field hockey should be called hockey and ice hockey called ice hockey. Thank you.

The Men’s FIH Pro League. Only 9 teams.

The most popular sports in the world include soccer, cricket, field hockey, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, baseball, basketball, rugby, and golf.

Yes, very serious. Ice Hockey doesn't even crack the top 10.

Also, the FIH is a world league and has 9 times at the top tier with many other teams battling below to get into the top tier.

Each country then has their own national league.

More popular to play? Maybe. Popular to watch? Not even close. No one shows up to a field hockey game, compared to ice hockey.
Field hockey is popular to play, because it’s easy.

As far as the “professional league“ they’ve already lost four teams, that only started six years ago.

    Nice try

You couldn't be more wrong if you tried apart from the truth that it is more popular to play (there are 60x more field hockey players than ice hockey players in the world)

Been to many games have you to be able to comment on crowd size? It is true that it doesn't draw the regular 15,000 type crowds that the NHL has but crowds of 5,000 + are regular all around the world. A truly world game.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.

It’s more popular, only because more people play it.

A professional field hockey game wouldn’t fill a high school stadium.

So the game I went to last weekend that had 7,000 people didn't happen?
And yes - generally something that is popular happens more than something else. English not your main language is it?

    Ok, smart ass.
I get it, you played field hockey, so you have a hard on for the game. Which sport draws bigger crowds? Not even close.

    7,000? Bullshit.

Nope - I don't play - my kids do though.
I already admitted you get bigger crowds - completely not what I was getting at but your lack of comprehension is off the charts.
I was there - I saw it - please do not call me a liar. Crowds of 10,000 are common in Belgium, Germany, Malaysia, India etc.

Yep - it was you. I clicked on this link hoping it was real hockey but it wasn't so I simply requested some clarity. I never realised you were so ignorant of hockey and it's standing in the rest of the world outside of North America.

This thread is about the National Hockey League, which is a registered trademark. Unless you can show me a field hockey league registered as the National Hockey League, I'd suggest you take your pedantry elsewhere.

Nah I might stick around for a bit. See if this thread has any legs or if it is as dull as the subject.

It doesn't. It's just Americans who don't realise there's life out of their trailers.

Says the guy who pays money to go on a holiday in a trailer, and then post pictures on the internet about it.
