I assume you booked the digs for a few weeks time?

I see Arsenal’s YT moaning minnies are out in force.![]()
I was watching one this morning...some spam head apoplectic with rage.
They should try supporting Birmingham City.

Or West Brom, for that matter.
Pics from before the game the other night. I've heard some rackets at games in my time, but that was maybe the loudest ever for me. The whole of the city seemed to be out in Bilbao shirts - it was a holiday anyway - and that noise in the ground was immense. Everybody was backing them, but they were as good as gold to us before and after. They stayed until the very end and backed the team 100%. I can't speak highly enough of the city and their fans.
Most places were closed after the game, but as one bar owner jokingly told me in excellent Yorkshire-tinged English "we would have stayed open if we had beaten you, you fucking bastards."
Found this place though and had a couple with this fella. He was telling me he lived in Seville these days but had a sister who was a Man United fan, so he was in his element. He was chatting away with my pal too;he spoke no English and my mate speaks no Spanish(not any of the United lads in shot by the way).
Left about 2 and got a taxi back to the hotel and was chatting away (in Spanish of course) to the driver about what a wonderful place Bilbao was. He was at pains to tell me they don't get as much rain as they used to! I''m like, 'mate, you get far less than us whatever the year.'
That place had been hammered during the day. A fitting name for the bar too, given the noise they made!

This about sums it up.
I've been all over watching United, but this was one of the best atmospheres I've ever seen. And they almost all stayed until the end too. Proper supporters who love the club.
They were fuming with the referee, but they can't have any complaints. We had no idea at the time what was going on from where we were sat, but having watched it back it was a clear penalty and, according to the rules of the game, a sending off. If he'd gone in with his feet and attempted to play the ball, it would have been a yellow.
Er..... OK.this was one of the best atmospheres I've ever seen

Keep talking to yourself Hal. You're the only one that finds you interesting.

Barca 2-0 down at HT and they don't look as sharp as last week to be honest. The handbags have already been out.
The ref is taking none of the "rolling around when someone blows on you" shit either, which is nice.
All gone mental again in the second half.
Chances galore and it's 2-2!
Fucking hell, this is ridiculously entertaining.
Going to watch the highlights again.
The Inter goalkeeper won it for them. Some truly astonishing saves. MotM for me.
Added: In highlights form it's even more mental!

Not that my hopes were high to start with, but only UEFA could pick a ref guilty of taking a bribe to fix a match and put him in charge of a game with a Qatari team in it....
I'm pretty sure FIFA could do that too.![]()
Masters vs Apprentices in Paris.![]()
