Thanks mate, we seemed to have a slightly less bad end of season collapse than the other top four teams…

When you look at the final day results, Birmingham were very unlucky to go down. Three teams above them all had great wins.

They did exactly this about 8 years ago though.

They were about 6th in the Championship and they decided they'd get Zola in.

He won two of about 24 games with them and damn near took them down.

Now, 8 years (?) later - top third of the table and they decide Wayne Rooney is the answer to - well, what on earth can that question have been?

So, their idiot directors made exactly the same mistake twice.

What happened to Leeds recently? Why did their form dip so much?

Birmingham is rotton to the core you can't blame Rooney for that.

    Obviously I wasn't blaming Rooney.

Except for the obvious fact that he had no track record of success.

But yeah, thanks for your insight.

Not a bad effort on my part... I was too kind to Norwich - won't happen again!

(The top 6 finished in the placesbthey'd been for nuch of the season, so probably as deserved?)

    Play-Off Predictions

Leeds beat Norwich (that'll be a new centre forward to warm our bench...).

West Brom bore The Saints into submission.

Final: Leeds bottle it and the club implodes; bottom half of the table next season!

It would have been impressive had you made that prediction at the beginning of the season, Betty. Not so for 3 weeks before the end of the season after looking at the table, when Leicester had a game in hand over Ipswich. Even I could have done that!

    Any predictions?

I've always thought that finishing third then going into the playoffs is the hardest.

Recent form doesn't offer much help.

I'm gonna say West Brom to go up.

    Leeds to beat Delia Smith.

Just to add: as soon as Leeds give Delia a deep penetration then we'll be ready to pick up Sara who'll be a good number 8 alongside Morsey, and that pig ugly number 9 who is probably just about premiership quality.

The bonus being, as they are the only two decent outfield players for Delia (the goalkeeper is decent) then they'll probably get relegated to Division 1 next season where they deserve to be...

Nonsense - Ipswich won League 1 and it was the pinnacle of English football (quite a while ago, t'is true).

Anyways, Delia should be in non-league area bum-fuck nowhere...

Sometimes a 0-0 can be a decent game.

    This one was unremittingly tedious.

Crap ref too... Leeds were unlucky not to get anything out of the game.

Let's see what West Brom can do.

Ten times the atmosphere at The Hawthorns compared to carrow road.

And all that yellow makes their stadium look like it's made of fkin Lego.

Horrible stadium, horrible club and dire cooking...

West Brom played well, but the Saints do look like they can craft a goal through a couple of nice passes at any time.

That second half was a bit worrying for West Brom...

Well, with our away record Albion fans won't be expecting much.

    Pressure is on Southampton.
