Really no reason to mention that one here.Gary Neville
I've just eaten
Are these pitches really slow or something?
I've lost count of the number of times I've seen players leaning back, toe poking and underhitting passes like the ball isn't where they're expecting it.
Well that's a victory. I put a little bit on France because they were better than evens but I thought it was going down the gary glitter until Vertonghen stepped up.
I wish he'd go back to the tiny totts.

Portugal should be able to beat these scrubs
Decent match this.
Portugal playing 5 attackers against a parked bus but Slovenia on the break are scary.
Ronaldo really needs to swallow his pride and give a free kick to Fernandes or Bernardo.
Extra time and penalties methinks, then Ronaldo will get that elusive goal.
Respect to Slovenia.
Fvcking priceless!!
Oblak what a penalty save from Mr ego!!
I do believe Ronaldo is crying and had a breakdown![]()
This is going to the shootout
Ronaldo should be denied a shot for missing already
Save by Costa
Renaldo scores
Another save by Costa
Bruno scores
Save Costa
Silvia scores and they win
Is there any topic on which you don't talk complete bollocks?
Ronaldo scored zero points.

Mao still in the basement, level on points with somebody who has Marcus Rashford in his team.

No. Penalties scored during a penalty shootout are never registered as goals scored.
And thus he is still on zero goals for the tournament. Though it's hasn't been for lack of trying.
He has now attempted 20 shots at Euro 2024 and still hasn't scored (the shootout doesn't count, of course). Only four players have taken more shots without scoring at a single European Championship since 1980.

Can someone fill me in on why Turkey is even in the EURO tournament ?
Why is Turkey a member of UEFA?
Kazakhstan and Turkey are two big countries which have territory in both continents, Europe and Asia. It gives them the power to choose which federation they prefer to join. Both of them choose UEFA.
UEFA have previously declined membership to those deemed as non-sovereign countries like Jersey. Some UEFA members are transcontinental states (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Turkey) and others are considered part of Europe both culturally and politically (Turkey, Cyprus and Armenia).
This thread will not get interesting until the German’s are knocked out of it.
Well it's been mostly about as worthwhile as a Switch post, so far.
