Not thrilled for sure but a lot of that goes on these days. NFL is huge money and if the market the team is in can't generate the revenues, owners go off to greener fields. Happened to my team. Oakland Raiders. Moved from Oakland to Vegas.
Suppose they would. Take a look at this.
List of professional sports leagues by revenue - Wikipedia
Four out of the top five biggest earners are US-based.
Mental when you consider that number 1, the NFL, is mostly just watched in the US.
They certainly know how to make money, that's for sure.
What do people pay for a ticket to an NFL game?
Been 30 years since I attended one so had to google about $400 average.
Actually you would be surprised how much NFL is watched globally. They just played a game at Wembly to a sold out audience. NFL game pass opened another huge market globally, same with the NBA. Your Futbol (Soccer) has never caught on in the US at any level. However if it's any consolation, soccer is played in school grades 1- 4 usually and it's mostly for exercise. Everybody gets a ribbon after the game.![]()
That nobody cares about apart from retired yanks. Ask the average Thai how the Cowboys did at the weekend and look at their reaction.
English football is the biggest game in the world and NFL is shite.
You know it. I know it. The world knows it.
But I didn't come here to troll you about your crap sports and ruin your thread so let that be that.
Do these people do it week in week out or is it just for the big games?
And, if so, how at those prices?
I can't get my head around those prices and with the US being as big as it is, you're looking at close to a thousand dollars for a trip when you book flights, hotels, food, drink etc.
More than that for a weekend mate. The SF bay area has a lot of money and sport fans to spend it. Oeur two away road games this year we had more than half the stadium in Red. Really drives the home team crazy. We play in Levi Stadium, when we go to LA its called Levi South.65% of the seats SF.
Sofi Stadium a few weeks ago. This is in Los Angeles.

It is a sport of pooves watched by wankers like you.
Just like your shit breakfast.
That doesn't happen in Seattle. But your lack of a winning record over the years against the Seahawks might have something to do with that.

I think you've been away too long.
US rights to the the English Premier League in 2016 were around $220 million a year but that's just doubled.
Believe it or not, the relative success of your international team has been the main driving factor.
That plus parents find it cheaper and safer for their kids to play Football instead of the American version.
Plus you've got more actual fans because you're being outbred by Latinos.

The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
One is what you should have said. Dream on that your SeaChickens will ever be in the same category of NFL teams as the Niners. You had Russell Wilson to drive us crazy, yup and he did, but now he is way past his prime. Lets let the year play out, and stop moving the goalposts.
That is the truth HB. Soccer is a cheap sport, boring, people don't need to pay attention, watch guys run around and kick the ball away from them and an exciting moment, is some contact, the guy lays on the ground crying like a little bitch out comes the red flag and a penalty kick 3 miles away that nobody cares about..
Soccer is a damn boring sport. Ranks right up there with Golf, Tennis, underwater basket weaving and synchronized swimming.![]()
