As much as I hate to say it, I think the team you left out of the poll will win. Nothing much to split them from brisbane and Port Adelaide, except home ground advantage. Not convinced either of those 2 can win at the MCG in a big game. The other 5 teams are also rans, even Melbourne.
Fremantle Dockers.Fecking Windy but Nice.
I vote for the blues as I think they are the dark horse but I think pies and lions have the best chance. My beloved pussies are out of the race but we'll be back next year.
^ "anybody but Collingwood" would be the 17 other teams, not the one mob that every sane and reasonable person hates.....with good reason.
September 2018....how sweet it was.
Might be a omen, just watched Womans AFL between Melb and the dirty rotten Magpies.
Melbourne flogged them, would of been the best team I have seen playing in the usual crappy
women comp.
dammit.
Collingwood Magpies beat Melbourne Demons in AFL qualifying final at the MCG
^
Harry,it means the winner goes straight to the Preliminary final and if they win that they go to the grand final.
The other teams have to play in semi finals so no time off to rest.
@ semi finals on this weekend-Melbourne-carlton...Melb will win
Port Adelaide. v GWS....do not care..Hope for a Melb-Lions grand final...every decent upstanding Australian wants the Magpies to get plucked.
^ dont bother answering the spam bot. Let him google that shit, except he wont because that wont help his post count.
that's a solid fact.
Melbourne Carlton should be a cracking game. I'd like to see Demons will it also, but I wont be upset if the Blues do.
Like you, I dont care much for either Giants or Port.
Except for the tribunal members who let the thug Maynard off tonight so he can play in the finals after KO-ing Brayshaw. It might have been a "football action" but if he was wearing anything other than black and white it would still have been careless conduct and got him a holiday.
Don’t write Pt Adelaide off yet. They will beat the GWS and be back in contention
After watching the first week of the finals. These are my thoughts. Melbourne should have one, they only need to kick straight despite their poor entry into the forward line which did not get score for effort with their far higher number of inside 50s. They need Grundy to give Gawn time on the forward line and need to stop bombing it in. If they can fix that, a big IF, they have a chance of going all the way.
Brisbane won convincingly, but at the Gabba. They will struggle more at the G but this is the year if they are going to do it.
I picked Carlton as the dark horse as they have run into form at the right time but the path to the final can be dependent on who you play and Melbourne may be a bridge to far if the Demons can fix their forward line. Oliver needs to improve his delivery but he has had a long out. Petracca needs to be at his best and no Melksham is a problem for their forward line. They need Grundy to play a roll.
Port I dont think are quite there. GWS have definitely improve with some players like Greene in career best form. I think they could surprise Port this week but its never easy in Adelaide so thats a 50/50 for me.
This week I am going for Port, only because they have the crowd and home ground advantage in a nail biter and Melbourne to pip the blues.
My prediction for next week is Melbourne V Brisbane and Port V Collingwood. I hope Im right because I think Collingwood V Port would be a ripper to watch.
My apologies for any mistakes. I was unable to use Google as the server was apparently overloaded by Spamdreth looking for more climate change graphs, warning people about the perils of CO2 emissions while jetting around the world.

Why Would Willy berate me Harold? Possibly Spamdreth but his credibility went ages ago.
