Italy have turned it around to lead 28-17. I can't see Uruguay coming back, but they had a good first half.

The upcoming South Africa - Ireland match looks to be the must watch this coming weekend. Wales - Australia should aslo be a good one. The Georgia - Portugal game might prove to be entertaining. The "minnows v minnows" are more fun for the spectator than say France v Namibia.
France 96 - 0 Namibia
the victors saw Antoine Dupont go off with a potential serious facial injury.
Reports in France suggest Dupont had suffered a fractured cheekbone, which could put his participation in the rest of the tournament in doubt.

I bet they'll be really pleased they lost a player to a meaningless pool match.
"There is a suspicion of a crack or fracture of the maxillary bone [upper jaw]," France head coach Fabien Galthie said afterwards.
"Currently he's in hospital being tested, there is the suspicion. I cannot tell you more than that. We are extremely concerned."
With risk of injury and a lottery system for accidental red card outcomes it's a wonder they played him for such a low ranked game.
Argentina kicks their way past Samoa 19-10. Los Pumas one try and four penalty kicks.
First up, Georgia v Portugal. It’s on at 7 PM Thailand time so something to watch at the sport pub.
England v Chile if you’re still sober around midnight.
Ireland v Springboks middle of the night kickoff for Thailand. Maybe better to watch the highlights.
^
And Wales v Aus doesn't rate?
England 71 - 0 Chile
Slow start from England and there will be plenty moaning about the performance.
Ireland Boks looking even so far.
But what the af is the colours that the Springboks are wearing???
Quickly, not very even.
And just as quick. Near even again.![]()
Come on the Pikeys - you won't hear me say that often![]()
Tasty game - first game that's really looked like a WC game imo
Can't see the same for the 2nd half but one can hope - i imagine the coaches are going to be a bit twitchy on injuries if its this intense in the second half.
Its nice to see some proper Mullets. I wonder if Snubs could supply some pacific salmon fillets for body protection?
Looks like Ire are getting sucked into the centre with the Jappies power and leaving the side open
Have to say the camera work is shite, they sit back off the scrums when they should be on the engage - rubish
edit
except that one = brutal by the Jappies
luck of the Oirish on the shit drop goal attempt - come on pikeys
Wow! That was a clash of rugby powerhouses.
What ..... a .....test. I cannot stand Sinead but that song at the end was great.
Ok last atm . This has to be the most open WC ever. I reckon anyone from NZ, Eng, Fra, Ire, Aus or SA imo.
