NSW NEVER get it ... it's the magic that Queenslanders who they are.
Why did NSW lose?
Obviously the ref was biased!

Yet again, they have confounded me. Well done.
KW and I called it, and Dave saw our obvious expertise.
Good on yer, Dave
He actually came from NZ

Was kann man tun? [at]♀️

(n.b. Deutsche Verlustängste)![]()
That is good old fashioned humour, as we say around here.
Well done QLD, and good on you David for picking up a few shekels on a multi
Should've won by more, couple of bombed tries by Holmes on the wing were very hard to watch but the result was still ok for the worst QLD team in 40 years. Not sure what that makes the NSW team they beat, but I'm sure Gallen and co will be clarifying that in the media today![]()
Have to about that the grub spear tackle at the beginning had a lot of influence on the match
How do you feel now Paul?
I read on FB this morning that the toads want to hire him as a Motivational coach. So it must be true.![]()
^^I must have missed that, was at pub with mates but will watch a full replay at home with no social interruptions or alcohol today so who spear tackled who exactly to have such a big influence on the match? Losing Tedesco thru a head knock was definitely a turning point, a player/captain of his calibre will always be missed but the same could be said of losing Munster in game 2 (made 100 times worse by Ben Fucking Hunt then playing for 77 minutes as his replacement)
^ Sorry, not spear-tackle - knee to the head (inadvertent), but the crap afterwards:
In case PlanB is watching:
SPOILER ALERT, 30 SECOND CLIP OF GRUB BEHAVIOUR AT State o. Origin LAST NIGHT
not a good look, but it didnt change the match.
Well, the knee did . . . but it wasn't intentional. Plus, that was a bit more than 'not a good look'. What was he aiming to achieve?
The knee did, but you were not talking about the knee, your comment was about his grub behaviour afterwards.
The word was he was trying to pick him up because he thought he was feigning being knocked out.
As I said, not a good look. It will be reviewed, and he will pay the price.
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink
OH please such NSW bias.
FACTS:-
Yes, Tedesco was knocked out by an accidental knee to the head.
Yes, Arrow picked him up and and pushed him back to then ground back to the ground.
But, within seconds, many of the QLD players are calling for the Trainer to come and assist INCLUDING Arrow, who was most concerned.
See ... State of Origin 3 half-time report: Maroons in front, Tedesco out with concussion
Fact.
As Paul Gallen wrote in the live blog ...

Tedesco goes down hard and he's off straight away with a bad head knock. That's a huge blow for NSW.
<snip>
There was a bit of afters from Jai Arrow on Tedesco when he was down on the ground but there is nothing in that, he didn't know the seriousness of the situation.
As soon as he realised, he stopped.
I don't usually stick up for Queenslanders but there was nothing in that.
Speaking of NSW bias ...
In game 2, Frizell took out Munster, the Series player of the match with an 'in the air tackle' which resulted in a head knock which ruled him out after a few minutes.
Was it dwelled on by the QLDer's? ... nope ... they are used to the NSW bias.

. . . bastard . . .
helge and KW???
Urgh . . .
Can't excuse Arrow for getting over excited at Tedesco dropping the ball then rag-dolling him but to be fair, he would not have done that if he knew the guy was genuinly concussed. His reaction was likely based more on thinking Tedesco was trying to milk a penalty or more importantly, get the Ref to stop the game with QLD having just got the ball in a turnover 20m out which would have given the NSW attacking formation time to get into position to defend their line. The Ref must stop the game no matter what if there's a player with suspected head-injury on the field, for those who didn't know.
I can remember a far worse incident in an Origin game about 15-20 years ago but can't remember the two players involved, the shoe was on the other foot though and it was a KO'd QLD player who got picked up off the ground and dumped. Anyone recall who that was?
. . . double bastard . . .
