Well, we outclassed you at The Hawthorns, but our away form is problematic.
I say 1-1.

^ A 44 minute change of heart?
Someone must have saw Albion are 3-1 outsiders
Changed 'from' to 'form'.
Quiet night?
Wba 2 Ipswich 0
Curse is activated
Ok match at times, a bit boring at others, but an exciting ending.
Maybe 2-2 was a fair result in the end? I was hoping for a made in Egypt and scored by Iraq goal at the end (so I could get my new prayer mat goal celebration going), but not to be...
Cycling should be banned!!!
Just looked at the stats which were heavily in our favour, but I didn't think we looked particularly dangerous for most of the game.
I was pleased with our dynamism going forward - something we've lacked away from home.
So a score draw, as I predicted, and a fair result imo.
And come on - you must be delighted with a point.
As you must be.
^^ No, we didn't play well, again. We have a lot of weaknesses - our right back out of position (with our centre midfielders not covering and not having the pace to get back) then our painfully slow centreback coming across to be run around 270 degrees then a goal - has happened many times this season. It was a good goal by your youngster, but a weak area for us that is very easy to exploit.
To be honest, you were very similar in style to Maidstone, so I would say more our defensive weakness than your dynamic attacking; we are defensively poor, especially in transition (very open to a quick counter attack because both our full backs, at least one centre midfielder and both 10s are pushed up, and we lack pace to cover out wide or anywhere else for that matter). Although, your youngster and captain both looked good (a bit of pace always helps at any level, which they both showed well).
I don't think either of these teams are anywhere near good enough for the Premiership - the way you dropped so deep in the second half was asking for trouble, imho.
Stats don't mean everything/much, and we weren't that threatening, imho, but you gotta push up to stop so many attempts on goal, surely?
Hopefully that tedious Stokey twat has now gone to bed.
We were away (our away record is pretty poor) to a free scoring team.
We took a point and were a few minutes from taking all three.
We can live with all those other stats.
Oh, and nobody was attention whoring after getting a head wound, or shouting racist insults.
We nearly scored a winner at the end... Nine minutes into "injury" time.
I'm not sure it matters that much as we're both comfortably in the top 6, but no chance of the top two. But, can Bristol City sneak in a few more wins to make the playoffs??? I hope they do because it'd be nice to have some weaker opposition in the playoffs (which Leeds will win).
BTW, I felt a bit sorry for your Yank - hardly any game time due to injuries, came on, jumped up for a header and out for the season. Depending on his contract, that may be his chance of high(ish) tier English football over?
You mentioned defending with a high line - when the ball got to the scorer of the first goal, Ipswich only had the keeper in their half.
We are not comfortably in the top six at all, btw.
And yeah, Dike has had terrible luck with injuries. Can't see him getting renewed.
^ Yeah the backline "extremes" were quite evident. We're on the halfway line with slow centre backs whereas as you lot sat back deeper and deeper as the game went on thus giving us attacking position in the final third. Somewhere in the middle would have been better for both teams, imho. In the first half, you had the balance about right - defensively tight with your back four on the edge of your penalty box, but with the midfield playing a lot in the middle third of the pitch. Quite traditional for the Championship, but still works if done well.
Cov 0 Mil 1 after an hour.
It's a dreary game, this.
Well, it's Coventry v Milwall.
Two of the grimmest places in the developed world.
After Stoke.
^^You've never spilled about who your real team since you were a kid is.
You posted once that they were just too terrible to admit to.
Was it Oxford United?
^^I bet Joe is quite excited now that someone with a three figure IQ has pointed him in the right direction.
Ciz you really need to drop having a heavy brunch, it makes you a right miserable fooker!
Oh, Chitty found a pic.
And overlooked the fact that his 'heavy brunch' pic obviously does not resemble my life in Thailand at all.
Y-a-w-n.
Do you remember your time in Thailand?
I mean...what utter shit.
Sometimes I feel like I'm John Lowe up against a spear thrower.
