    Oh dear.

Brazil forward Neymar to have surgery after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee; the 31-year-old suffered injury while on international duty in Tuesday's 2-0 defeat to Uruguay; Neymar's club Al Hilal did not say how long he is expected to be out for

But having Scotland means it's an easy group.

Even our drunks look good against you.

From the 23rd November on the United thread when I posted news of the sale:

Of course I am, but they're talking about selling us for 5 to 9 billion.

    Who can afford that?

This could be a classic case of out of the frying pan and into the fire with owners as repulsive as the plastics and the barcodes.

Feb 18th when news of the Qatar bid came in:

Hpefully, Ratcliffe's bid will prevail, but I don't think the Glazers will be factoring any morality concerns into the sale. Saudi reported to be sniffing around too.

It will be interesting to see what the final price is cos there's over 500 million quid's worth of debt sitting there as well as an urgent need to upgrade/rebuild the stadium.

    Meh, bollocks.

You'd have been all over the forum givin it large after your first shandy.

Unperturbed by there being little room for manoeuvre on players, because so much cash has been spunked on the likes of Casemiro.

But how about a thread on Lee Fkin Sharpe.

Meanwhile, away from the shithole that is the Theatre of Dweebs...

So I know FIFA and UEFA agreed that if a player is injured on international duty, his national federation has to pay his wages while he is out.

Does South America have a similar scheme?

And could the Brazilian FA afford it?

The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth

Well, have to back Hal up on this one.

Despite his madness, he never expressed any Hal'ish delight in the beduin takeover.

As long as the Glazers can still take cash out when they want to.

    Not good.

The manager of Lyon has been injured after the team bus was attacked on its way to the stadium ahead of a match against Marseille.

Footage on social media on Sunday evening appeared to show stones being thrown at the Lyon's bus, with head coach Fabio Grosso pictured on a stretcher and with a bloodied face.

Some windows were shattered when the bus was hit on the way to the Stade Velodrome.
The Ligue 1 match between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais was called off after the incident.

Sad news that Ghanaian Raphael has collapsed and died while playing in Albania.

A transfer to Brighton in 2017 failed because of heart issues in his medical. He underwent surgery in 2020 and was advised to stop playing, but didn't.

Died at 28 years of age.

    RIP.

The War Elephants take on the chinkies on Thursday at 19:30 in a world cup qualifier.

Obviously everyone (except Hoohoo) wants them to win.

    It's on ThaiRath TV.

It's a great chance to bond with your Thai mates over a beer or twenty.

Just noticed England have a team in the U17 World Cup.

After thrashing OCEANA giants New Caledonia, they put Hezbollah to the sword beating Iran 2-1.

On Friday at 7pm Thailand they take on minnows Brazil who have already lost to Iran, and the losers risk going out since Iran play New Caledonia in the last group game (Brazil only beat them 9-0).

On Bein Sport 6, Astro Supersport 3 and Supersport Football SA
