It was yesterday...

Dropped the Little Boss at the bus station for the 19:10 bus Thursday night, was at me favourite pub by 20:00 hours... Planned to be home by 10pm, and was, to collect the dog, stayed out til the wee hours then came back with a couple of mates to play some music and drink a bit more. Struggled through Friday morning work, just, gave up mid afternoon and slept yesterday away. Got up nice and early this morning, took the dog for a long walk, showered him, cleaned the house, had some nice coffees, bought some nice bread and stuff from the shops, watched Sharpe's Enemy. I'm now onto Sharpe's honour, two 50 minute parts to fit either side of the rugby...

I am taking the attitude that the White Ferns supporters have - the ABs are the best, unbeatable, they always beat England and everyone else, England have no chance, this is the White Ferns WC, and the White Ferns will win today easily, by 20+ points because they are unbeatable... I will enjoy the match knowing that we are just there to show how good the White Ferns are, the White Ferns are after all three to one on for good reason; zero pressure for England, zero nerves for me, I'll enjoy the match, we'll lose, I'll write a nice comment on this thread about how good the White Ferns are, and good luck to Wales & the Bokks, then I'll get back into Sharpe for the rest of the evening...

Nothing won yet. We've led, many teams have led, the White Ferns at half time. It's an 80 minute game, and the White Ferns will have their chances and then some...

For my money, the best half of the WC from any team, considering the opposition, but means nothing. It'll be a big second half.

I still fancy the White Ferns to turn it round and win by 15 points+ We've been ahead by more points than this and still lost (last game we played, for example...).

One was screaming for joy when England almost scored the try from that Maul

Well that was frustrating, no discernible game plan from ABs but then England played well and didn’t let them into the game so....

Regardless the better team on the day won so congrats. Tomorrow’s game gonna be a cracker hopefully!
