Banners won't fix the on field problems my friend.
They all sit squarely at the feet of the scandihooligan.
Perhaps the owners tied his hands with transfer funds, but the fans will blame him, especially if the mickey mousers come to town and humiliate them.
Then he's an easy scapegoat and will take a nice payoff to keep shtum and take the blame.
I don't know if this fits here or not, but I thought a top of the league post might be nice...
We have reached our level... I'd say that Hanwa Eagles are probably closer to winning the World Series than ITFC are to winning the Premier League... But, the good news is that it only costs £5 to watch the matches via Suffolk Radio video streams online. Oh yes, I watched us beat Fleetwood Town 0-1 last Saturday evening; a close game, but our quality showed through in the end via our Everton loanee Garbutt, left-back, by far the best player in this division and I'd suggest better than any left-back on the Man U books (I'm not joking, he is quality).
Cycling should be banned!!!
Short memories?
Isn't that from the 1980's?
When Utd with Fergie at the helm had won the square root of fok all?Never mind scored the winning goal in injury time of a European Cup final.
All the more reason why Utd fans will stick with OGS for at least half the time Fergie got before winning anything.
Given that Fergie had already broken up the Old Firm and won European trophies, it demonstrates the fickleness of the modern day football fan.
Merchandise United fans wouldn't know a decent manager if he sat on their faces, but they know a crap one when they see one.
I'm telling you, the humiliation of a thrashing by their noisy neighbours well send them into apoplexy.
OGS is doomed.
Give it time and you will hate Paul Lambert as much as we do.
Disloyal, selfish, Glaswegian unable to speak the English language, with not an ounce of genuine goodness in his body.
So, AVFC, Stoke and now ITFC, all relegated by the Man with no Moral Backbone.
If he can't get ITFC promoted from the old 3rd division, he's even more untalented than i give the cvnt credit for.
By the way, i heard a rumour that Portman Rd is actually owned by the council?
Surely not?
Yep, we're just like Real Madrid!
(We've had a lot of shite managers in the last decade: McCarthy was a useless twat, Roy Keene just bullied our young over-paid snowflakes and some fella I'd never heard of who won the first division was well out of his level in the Championship. League 1 is a massive drop below the Championship, it's not far from park football and semi-league, imho...)
^ didn't Arry mention short memories?
I remember Ole winnining 95% of his first 18 games and bringing back memories of the old United... before he turned into Dave Sexton.
If you scrutinise Man U's underlying stats then look at Arsenal's you will see Man U have been better than Arsenal this year who are in a false position.
Cyrille knows his footy and would attest that's true.... if he didn't hold the same level of resentment for the fallen giant that will return with their spine of Lindelof, Pogba, and Martial soon.
Thank Christ.
Yeah, not the best spine of a team there.
As GN was saying, the kids didn't win the double in '96, it was the spine of the team they came into that won it - Schmeichel, Bruce, Pallister, Keane, Cantona, Cole. Giggs and Irwin on the left.
Lindeflop and Pogba-Can't-Be-Arsed. ffs.
You can relax now...
Big Sam Snapped With Ed Woodward In Manchester Hotel
Sam Allardyce has been photographed meeting with UTD Chief Executive Ed Woodward in Manchester’s Lowry Hotel. Most bookies have now ceased offering odds on the former England manager replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
"People are putting two and two together and getting four" Allardyce told Soccer on Sunday. “Maybe the club is ready to try 300 pounds of succulent, prime British beef instead of 130 pounds of stringy Norwegian offal. That’s up to Ed, but he knows where I am if he needs me.”
“KFC,” clarified Allardyce. “I’m there most afternoons.”
Woodward admits that he was impressed by Allardyce’s sales pitch.
“Sam offers a range of packages,” the former investment banker told Soccer on Sunday. “The standard ‘Safety’ package guarantees 17th place. The ‘Delux’ package also guarantees 17th, but comes with passing.”
“But we might push the boat out and go ‘Platinum’,” said Woodward. “According to Sam’s brochure, it guarantees a top 10 finish, with ‘…lots of foreign-style fannying about, including sideways kick-outs to full-backs on the edges of the six-yard box and other greasy foreign nonsense.’”
“Mouthwatering,” added Woodward.
Goalkeeper David de Gea is a doubt for Manchester United's Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday after coming off injured on Spain duty.
The 28-year-old appeared to hurt his hamstring during his country's Euro 2020 qualifier in Sweden.
He was replaced by Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga after an hour in Stockholm with his side trailing 1-0.
An injury-time Rodrigo equaliser earned a 1-1 draw and secured Spain's spot at the Euros.
De Gea's injury came in innocuous circumstances - he immediately grabbed the back of his leg after clearing a backpass from his own player.
He sat on the ground in his six-yard box before making his way off the pitch alongside the physios.
United are 12th in the Premier League and have not won in their past three top-flight games.
They will face a Liverpool side aiming for an 18th consecutive Premier League win, a total that would equal the record held by Manchester City.
De Gea was critical of his side's performances this season after their last match - a 1-0 defeat at Newcastle - saying: "The whole season isn't acceptable for us.
"We have injuries but it's not an excuse. We are Manchester United. We need to train hard to keep fighting and to get back to winning games."
If De Gea is unable to feature at Old Trafford at the weekend, Argentine Sergio Romero - who has featured in the Europa League and Carabao Cup this season - is likely to replace him.
The currant bun has the tiny totts chasing Moronho, because apparently Merchandise United are turning Poch's head.
That's a fucking win/win that is.

Not one of them has signed up to donate one per cent of their comically massive earnings. While Jurgen Klopp - manager of United's great rivals, and preparing for a Premier League trip to Old Trafford on Sunday - has signed up for Common Goal, no other male United player has done so.
Evidently it was disappointing when Mata failed to get the XI he wanted to launch Common Goal in August 2017.
"We didn't manage to do get 11 so I said: 'OK, I am going to be the first player to say it publicly, then hopefully, when others get to see what Common Goal is and find out what we are doing, they will join'," he said.
Mata would obviously be happy if United team-mates joined him, but added: "This is not about saying that whoever is in Common Goal is great and whoever isn't could do more.
"I really believe this is something that, whether it takes more or less time, will become gradually bigger and bigger."
Not even de Gea, his Spanish teammate in terrible form but still rewarded with an absurd pay rise.
The United way?
