I don't know how to post Video's but there's some great camera-phone footage on the net of Nelson Asofa-Solomona in a punch up outside a Bali nightclub last night. The story goes that one of his team-mates got punched inside the club, so they moved it outside and that's where the video starts of someone punching Asofa-Solomona and predictably, he retaliates and doesn't miss either!. Of all the rather large and genuine hard men in the NRL you wouldn't want to fight, this guy would be surely be top 3.

    Height: 2 m (6 foot 7 inches)
    Weight: 115 kg (18 st 2 lb)

I wouldn't want him to accidentally bump in to me.

I stood not too far away from him a couple of weeks ago. He is enormous.

    I'm 1.91 m and 94 kg. I felt like a midget.

^You can see in the clip he's just standing there with his hands down, then someone in the crowd puts one on the side of his face. Bad idea

A big lad, fast, powerful and accurate too - not to be messed with in a confined space (potentially any space at all although you'd want a wide open space to run into...).

World 9's is on this weekend.

Australia is coached by Mal Meninga.

Friday will see the tournament’s Opening Ceremony, commencing at 6pm then an Australia-New Zealand double-header, featuring both the men’s and women’s side.

Traditional rivals will bump heads in a spectacular opening night of matches of the RLIF Downer World 9's in October.
Australia will face New Zealand in both men's and women's games, while England take on Wales, Tonga meets the Cook Islands, and Samoa prepares for one of the tournament favourites, Fiji.

And that's just some of the mouth-watering contests scheduled for Friday, October 18 at Bankwest Stadium. An opening ceremony will be held at 6pm before kick-off in the first of 28 games on the two-day program - France v Lebanon at 6.20pm.
The following day will feature two Australian men's and women's Nines teams double-headers, while the stands will shake when Samoa and Tonga start their cultural dances ahead of their meeting.

That's all part of nine hours of action on Saturday with all teams - 12 men's and four women's - playing a minimum of two games.
The two men's semi-finals will be held at 6.55pm and 7.20pm before the women's final at 7.45pm and the men's final at 9pm.

Nines rugby league is returning to the international calendar with 12 national teams to contest the men's tournament and four to compete in the women's event.
Traditional league nations Australia, New Zealand and England are joined by emerging Pacific nations Tonga, Fiji, Samoa and the Cook Islands in the men's tournament.

Papua New Guinea will join Australia, New Zealand and England in the field for the women's competition.
All squads have been officially lodged for the tournament.

    Australian team ...

    Kangaroos: 1. James Tedesco 2. Josh Addo-Carr 3. Latrell Mitchell 4. Jack Wighton 5. Nick Cotric 6. Cameron Munster 7. Daly Cherry-Evans
    8. Josh Papalii 9. Damien Cook 10. David Klemmer 11. Boyd Cordner 12. Tyson Frizell 13. Jake Trbojevic

Bench ... 14. Ben Hunt 15. Payne Haas 16. Paul Vaughan 17. Wade Graham 18. Cameron Murray

    Australian spine ...

    9. Damien Cook

    7. Daly Cherry-Evans

    6. Cameron Munster

    1. James Tedesco

Undeniable talent ... but time together as a playing group?

    ---

Would have loved to have seen Tom Trbojevic with a roving commission on the wing instead of 5. Nick Cotric
But Tom Trbojevic has a damaged pec muscle.

    ---

A little to surprised to see 10. David Klemmer in the side. As a battering ram I suppose.

    ---

    4. Jack Wighton plays as a fullback, five-eighth and centre for the Canberra so a good utility player to have in the side.

    Kiwis:

    1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Ken Maumalo 3. Charnze Nicoll-klokstad 4. Joseph Manu 5. Jamayne Isaako 6. Shaun Johnson 7. Benji Marshall
    8. Leeson Ah Mau 9. Brandon Smith 10. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 11. Briton Nikora 12. Kenneath Bromwich 13. Adam Blair

    Bench from ... 14. Jahrome Hughes 15. Zane Tetevano 16. Braden Hamlin-Uele 17. Corey Harawira-Naera 18. Kevin Proctor 19. Bailey Simonsson 20. Kodi Nikorima 21. Isaiah Papalii

    Kiwi spine ...

    9. Brandon Smith ... plays as a hooker and lock for the Melbourne Storm in the NRL. Not brilliant, but a strong worker.

    7. Benji Marshall

    6. Shaun Johnson

    1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck

Again, undeniable talent ... but question Brandon Smith as hooker in an attacking role.

I think DCE is over rated. Can potentially play well, but is too inconsistent for my liking.
Cook, Munster & Teddy almost never have a bad game.

^The 1st half was entertaining, but that was the best 2nd half of Rugby League anyone could ever hope to see. Could not be happier for the Tongans to win after a display like that!.

Fuck beans... I was pissing about with dodgy streaming websites last week trying to find the Kiwis V Lions game and eventually did but it was a bit spotty and patchy casting it to my TV -- though watchable just.

Anyways just randomly checked RugbyPass to see if they have the Barbarians game on (they don't) only to see they have all the International RL. I feel like a right twat.

Rugby League Lions: Comeback tour ends in 4-0 whitewash

Great Britain suffered a 4-0 whitewash on their comeback tour after an effervescent Papua New Guinea stunned the Lions in Port Moresby.

The defeat will intensify scrutiny of Lions and England coach Wayne Bennett, who is now out of contract.

The Lions failed to register a second-half point to end the disastrous tour.

    Tour results
    Papua New Guinea 28 - Lions 10
    New Zealand 23 - Lions 8
    New Zealand 12 - Lions 8
    Tonga 14 - Lions 6
