I won 1 league by a matter of points and finished 2nd in the other. Will have to sign up for the TD one next season.

Nah, the TD league is meaningless. Crowing about winning that would be like pretending that winning the Community Shield meant something.

The SZS league is the real deal. The one all the top managers want.

Harder to get to those sort of rankings now with more players and with more and more data and info available to players. Also the lack of a clear template team and obvious captain choices for most of the season shook things up

Two top 10,000 finishes in the last 3 seasons, so can't complain.

I did well, as I picked my own team and captain every single week, without following some pro tipsters advice like a sheep.

In fact taking that into account I Consider I fucking won the SZS league outright for TeakDoor.

I didn't fancy him for that much in my first tinker last week. I think 1m less for Luiz is better value.

Notice Firmino is now a striker. He's off the table then.

Getting the strikers and mids in this season seems more difficult than usual. Sanchez + Alli + Lukaku and you're down to mid-price unless you cheap out in defence.

Yes, in particular, 7m in midfield doesn't get you much.

I've skimped too much in defence in recent seasons.

I'd be back in a shot were the right job available or I could do the remote working / digital nomad thing. Working on it. My girlfriend is up for living in the UK but after speaking to others, I'm inclined to feel that she'd have no chance of a substantive career like she has now and would likely only have friends of convenience as opposed to the real relationships she has now. The UK does probably offer a better career for me and all the stuff in the social contract that we take for granted that you don't get in Thailand. But, it's nowhere near as interesting and the conversations I have in Thailand with the friends I have there generally shit on those I have over here apart from a few lads in the university that can think beyond the general platitudes of Left and Right British politics.

I'm going for a bargain basement goalies and defenders
revolving around Huddersfield town (didn't even know they were in the premiership)

Might swap in a Sarfhamtom mid-fieder, now they have got rid of that tosser manager.

I can see me being top after week one
with my Man city players bashing that homo town Brighton, on opening day

Did a draft for the new draft system last night with a load of mates. Good fun. It's a significantly different FF experience overall. A lot like the Yahoo NFL FF experiences I had prior to starting into this in football (soccerballing).
