Not one of your better posts Jack.
A list like that is so highly subjective it's barely worth a second thought.
Not to mention the fact that mathematically, 100 players is a fraction of a percent of the pool they have been chosen from, so has no baring on whether he is average or very good. All that means is, that he isn't one of the very, very greatest of all time, which nobody would suggest he was.
It's that blatant disregard for math that was making primo sound so foolish. Comparing him to Messi and a couple of other world legends, and saying that was proof that he wasn't a very good player.
would you like me to post the top 1000 greatest playershes not on that one either
Yeah Yaso, you know how to cut and paste, don't you?Best team of all time

6 Johan Neeskens
7 Alfredo Di Stefano
8 Didi
9 Pele

No Messi? It's obviously an old (and subjective) list.
How about Pele's list?
Although he says by implication that Kenny Dalglish is Scotland's best player when in fact it was Denis Law.
I never posted peles list because its only picked by one person, i like lists that are open to all to vote
Pele got the Daglish part right though.
So you missed the bit where it said:
Jaysus Primo, were you born an irritating knob jockey or do you practice at it?Best team of all time
1 Lev Yashin
2 Carlos Alberto
3 Giacinto Fachetti
4 Franz Beckenbauer
5 Franco Baresi
6 Johan Neeskens
7 Alfredo Di Stefano
8 Didi
9 Pele
10 Diego Maradona
11 Johan Cruyff
