Hi TT have not really read this thread, but hey come and interview me, as i am the the only sane person on this site.
I have loads of storys to tell you...eg got pissed up last month and hit by a truck,just done 28 shots of chiang and threw up,got a thai wedding coming up,just sw two thai dogs shagging that where stuck together,ate baby birds deep fried,yum yum .

Hello again everybody. If I've offended anyone here, which I highly doubt, then I genuinely apologize. That was not my intention in anyway, so I'm sorry for that. Despite some horrible insults, and worse yet, slander, that has been thrown my way, I just took it all with a grain of salt, and have not myself been offended. I must say however, some of you were very nice and supportive, one of you (I'm not going to go through all the posts to find out who) said some mean things to me that made me laugh out loud (very funny stuff), and a few of you proved to be wasting mine, everybody else's, and clearly your own time. Especially the guy who did all the quoting, as if quoting something and taking it out of context on an internet forum of all places can accomplish anything.

So, yeah, sorry to anyone I rubbed the wrong way, but I'm sure by now you've found someone to make it all better by rubbing you the right way. And to those of you who have contacted me, thank you very much. I have kept your contact information (except for ladyhawk, please send me a PM if you read this), and if I still need interviewee subjects when I visit your province I will be sure to contact you. Even if I don't, maybe we can get a beer. And Happy New Year to everyone!

Oh yeah, one more thing. This is for dirtydog. If you actually wanted your "15 minutes" and weren't just kidding (sarcasm can be tough to pick up on on the internet), well I can certainly help you get 5 or so of those minutes in. If you're really good at Thai to the point where you can hold an interview, I think being the moderator of an internet forum living near the beach is really cool, and would make for an interesting discussion. Of course I'd hate to cut up an interview and piece it back together, and there will be no intentional "slanting" done by me (except perhaps slanting my eyes), which is why I want people to self censor (but not lie!!!). We don't need to degrade our hosts! Remember, this is supposed to be an entertaining and informative interview, not one that casts you or especially Thailand in a bad light.

I just seriously doubt that anyone was genuinely offended. Take yourself for example, you're almost begging me to throw insults at you, so, um, you clearly weren't hurt or even affected by anything I said. Why the hell would I want to come on here and hurl insults at strangers (unless I'm really a regular pretending to be a newbie so I can stir up shit anonymously and have a big laugh about it)?

Got to agree with the kiwi, quite a lot of us are fluent in the lingo, I even worked as a translator in a thai court, random chances Thai speaking is a lot more concise than mine and most Thais aswell, lots of others on here would have no problem holding a 15 minute conversation in Thai, but me, I have already had my several 15 minutes of fame and don't really want anymore, but I was being honest in my initial post
