I don’t care how shite it is, when Margot Robbie’s involved it’s worth a watch.

Put her in a HQ costume and I’m watching that shit as soon as I get my covid test result and this minivan sets sail for Udon.
    Lang may yer lum reek...

I gave it a try but really Marvel are trying to wring blood from a stone now.

Marvel stuff has always been incredibly formulaic - which is fine for comics aimed at teenage lads.

    You'd hope they'd moved on by 17.

If you enjoyed Suicide Squad then you’ll be fine with The Suicide Squad.

    Gunpowder Milkshake

One to switch your brain off and watch with the Mrs, cos she’ll probably like it more than you.

There is good action and loads of it with some cool fight sequences. It’s just a bit unfitting when the kickass here of the story is a girl - the fit Scottish lassie from the first Jumanji remake and her mother played by the Actress of Sersi Lannister fame.

A story of hitwomen whose firm turns against them.

    No tits. Lots of blood.

6.8/10 cos it got better at the end.

Good action movie with Frank Grillo, Niomi Watts and Mel Gibson.

Mr. Corman is a new program on Apple TV+. I've only seen the first episode, but it's about a primary school teacher who is having a midlife crisis. Even though he seems to be in his thirties. Two episodes are available for download.

    The top review on IMDB:

    Boring
So slow paced. I'm a fan of his work but this was too slow for me. I fast forwarded through scenes several minutes but they were still dragging on far too long.

Yet it still scores a 6.8.

The scenes are bound to be boring if he's fast forwarding. Not like he's listening to what they're saying is it

The Dig is quite relaxing. Maybe more so if you have any connection to UK?

Gemini Man (2019). A younger clone of will smith is sent to kill will smith. Best not to think too much about that. Entertaining enough for a Sunday evening.

That definitely helps if you are having trouble nodding off.

Roadrunner: A Film About Anthony Bourdain (2021)

Being somewhat of a Bourdain fanboy and having watched most of his various TV series episodes, I very much enjoyed this final tribute to the great man. There's even a scene in Nana Plaza where the soon to be divorced Tony, sitting on the balcony rail across from Carnival, says "Nancy, I hope your divorce lawyer is paying close attention to this footage. Feel free to depose anyone on this crew at any time. This, too, of course, is part of life's glorious mosaic."

Target number one - interesting enough film - authentic thai footage - though the street where the climatic ending was a little bit weird

"Chapelwaite", a 10 episode series from Epix based on the short story "Jerusalem's Lot" by Stephen King. Stars Adrien Brody as a ships Captain who's wife dies at sea, and he relocates his family to a small town in Maine.

    Trailer:

Downloads (there are 3 episodes available as I write this, suspect more will quickly follow):

Seeing him as a cold fok mafioso in Peaky Blinders

It's amazing it isn't a role he's been put in before or since.

Her standing in the doorway in nothing but stockings in TWOWS could raise the dead. Gotta be the best mainstream nude scene ever.
