Another crack at a remake of D.O.A., only this time the protagonist is a female assassin (think Nikita) and it's set in Japan.

Passes the time 6/10.

If you like Quinton Tarantino movies you will like Breaking Bad, If you like the music I post on the forum you will like the soundtrack. And the spin off "Better Call Saul" is like a prequel that is ongoing. If you are an uptight politically correct SJW you will hate it.

Vigil (TV, 2021) - British crime thriller about a murder on a nuclear submarine. Not bad 7/10

Y: The Last Man (TV, 2021) - Apparently developed from a comic book series, but somewhat lacking comedy. Promising first episode but rather wanders off after that 6/10

I watched the first three episodes or so of S01 and found it flat, with FW lacking the charisma to carry it.

The 5 NY families, black gangsters, wholesale drug dealing, Malcolm X, Mohammed Ali, reasonable production, all the ingredients required to make a classic for people like me that are easily pleased.

^Bit hard to figure out how many episodes there are. PB has "complete SEA1" up, but it's only 2 episodes. Which, given the length, may be all there is as it's billed as a mini-series.

Years After Years

probably a bit behind the curve on this one cos its a couple of years old, but just finished it and it was really good, apart from the gender bending, but it's British TV drama so you have to expect that, its a kind of Black Mirror look at post Brexit Britain that's kind of funny and sad at the same time
