Sound Card problem.

Yesterday, I received a virus which shut the computer down. Something similar to the old one where a sign appears saying the system will close in 30 secs.

Anyway, I have no sound, only a bleep every now and again. I have SRS Audio sandbox which is also dead.

I checked sound settings in control panel and I am unable to apply any of the options available.

Any suggestions.

Incidentally i have reinstalled SRS but i'm still unable to enable the SRS or the pc sound card.

If its windows, go back to "a point in time". It should isolate the infected area.
