thanxs , never gave that a thought
lets say hardly any , I don't go searching for 'em and hardly play them on embedded pages due to crappy dial up , don't miss em
fact is there's no audio on this laptop , just remembered![]()
Mid I easily reach that within a day. Remember every Youtube vid is a few meg big. But it's easy to keep track: Just right click network, go to your connection (wireless or Lan), right click again and click appear when it is connected. Then by scrolling over or double clicking the icon you see how much you've up- and downloaded.
edit: I might have to add that I browse and load a lot of multimedia content, mostly without watching it in the end. Multi-tabbing, like you said. But even while browsing online newspapers you'll reach 200mb fairly quickly due to all the online (visual) ads.

it's in bytes
8 mill up and 51 mill down 4 1/2 hrs
You'll be watching a lot of Charlie Chaplin movies I reckon.Originally Posted by Mid
200 M bytes is a very low capacity. A single mp3 song track is about 4 M bytes. A 20 second video about 3 M bytes. Every time you open your browser another 20 K bytes. A couple of hours and I'd be done.

Why the restriction. Some kind of special ISP offer?Originally Posted by Mid
Mid, I advise you get a very good ad-filter program. I have never had the need for one of those, but if you regularely surf the same sites you might want to filter the ads from these sites, that will save you lots of bandwith. I know there are highly customizable programs out there for free, which will effectively filter what ever content you want, be it pictures in general, ads, anything really.
Or better still get a proper I-net connection.![]()
