If I die, my wake will be at the temple in Maenam village. These two songs will be prominent among the party music. Well, Van the Man feks up, but that's OK, it will get people going and remind me of when I last saw him at the Gorge in Washington State ( he was rather unconscious, the wind picked up from the Columbia River and blew his lyrics away, the band kinda carried on and then the backup singer brought replacements).

Then for the finale when they roll me into the oven, Van will be partying and forgetting most of the words to the Philosopher's Stone, like he does here. Sure to be a great BBQ hit.
^ thank you! been a van fan for a long time..i really enjoyed that 33 years later and you see how great van has become, warm love dragged out of its disco dilema with van taking it back to his way of blues...right now i,m enjoying his .back on top. with philospher stone..just takes me away! great album!![]()

Well, can't have Van without Bob...555555
and then you have you invite Joni...
Canadians gave her an award at a school or uni, totally non-smoking. Joni chain-smoked thru the whole ceremony. They changed her ashtrays after every two butts. 555555

Oh, and then you have to throw in kd. She grew up about 30 miles north of my granma's farm in Consort, Alberta. Not a hit there she wasn't. She's gay and a veggie from the god-fearing cattle country. 55555 Love her.

I've always loved Van and also Boz Scaggs. It seems people who like one usually like the other. KD Lang is great too.
