Chrome and Firefox Block KickassTorrents

Starting a few hours ago Chrome and Firefox users are unable to access KickassTorrents (KAT) directly
Chrome and Firefox are actively blocking direct access to the popular torrent site KickassTorrents. According to Google's Safe Browsing diagnostics service the site contains "harmful programs," most likely triggered by malicious advertisements running on Kat.cr.

Since this morning, when I type kat.cr, I don't even have a warning, Firefox just totally ignores the command. I never thought that one day Microsoft will look like a less evil than Google.

Just use Duck Duck Go. This way you won't be tracked either. 2 birds with one stone.

The same thing happened a few weeks back. Just tried to get into KickAss with Chrome and saw the notice. Clicked enter anyway and it let me through.

Works fine on Opera but as you say Chrome and Firefox do give you a warning but you can ignore it and still continue onto the site though .

Lets hope the Google spambots don't pick up on any Kickass links posted in the Movie/TV Recommendation thread and start giving google users a warning when they enter Teakdoor into the search engine !

They're right to flag it, there is malware there for the stupid to download.

But if you know what you're doing, you just use rebbu's advice.

They're just issuing a warning.

I got the warning here in Swissland.

Piratebay is still working. So i was able to get my Hawai five 0 fix on a Saturday morning!!

I get a bit panicky when i see warnings like that, so i choose to go elsewhere. But shall try again.

it gave me a warning a couple of days ago on firefox but nothing since then.
