It's exam week so all the favourites are coming out.
Yesterday was cheesy quiche Tuesday.
With peas.
Money...

Quiché looks good Mendy. Why the ketchup, though?
No spoons so presume the spatula is used for shoveling in the peas.
^^ I love ketchup with a quiche.
^ Spoons for Western a dish??? You animal.
I was lucky enough to get a Lufthansa 'spork' which was just the job for the quiche and peas although the daughter struggled without complaint using her Qatar fork.
As an aside, that third dish on the right was for the gardener and I assumed he would just take a slice... but he scraped the entire remaining two-thirds of the quiche into his dish and disappeared back to his kitchen. That was supposed to be tonight's tea as well! Anyway, I've told him a guy called Edmond will be on to him for eating too much stodge
Fooling no one, they use the spatula to shovel it in.![]()
A dinner or lunch I make quite often. I decided to add strawberries to this salad with chicken.
Radishes, cucumbers, red pepper, kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes inside. Balsamic Vinegar dressing on top.

That's a very nice from me.
Not sure about the strawberries on a salad, but hey if it works.
Will do, cheers![]()
^ Strange combinations sometimes work. While I was recently in Norway I was invited to colleague's house for their obligatory 'Taco Friday' and one of the little bowls had pomegranate pearls for sprinkling in the burrito (?) thingies. It seemed a bit odd to me but the crunchiness of the pomegranate worked well.
Anyway, I picked up these two pies last weekend at Korat's 'The Mall'. They were next to the Sloane's sausages and I'm starting to suspect it was the Sloane's area of the freezer. I thought I'd grabbed two Steak and Stout pies but when I got home realised with disappointment that the bottom one was a Red Wine and Mushroom. The daughter bagsied the Steak and Stout... the compromises we make for family.
Pies only come in one size so the daughter had a whole one... and left half the pastry to ease Edmond's overburdened mind. I make my homemade pies with only a pastry top for just this reason however things can admittedly get a bit messy if eaten while driving.
It was OK but I wish I'd had the Steak and Stout one.

Way too big for me. Dog got the rest. Broke now.

Meat first, then the salad.
Dogs can eat chips, right?
I could be breakfast given i can't see this session easing up, but here's the "Makings" as our mercan friends say.
Is it a leg of lamb? Might want to add some garlic gloves to that
And some rosemary sprigs, maybe tomorrow when Nammers has awoke from his Gin and Merlot snooze![]()
