Love it too, especially with a serving of goat curry bone in and some bitter greens

So I am not used to using a pressure cooker, but since the lady is at work I had to. I did a pot roast and potatoes with carrots. Apparently I overcooked the veg, but the roast was perfect...

It initiated a Pavlovian response from me. LOL
On top of the list of the things I miss from the US, is good beef.

Kofta looks like it's been around a while.

    Salad a bit tired too.

Sorry - but I've been dining on similar for about 17 years.

It all looks a sight better than armstrong's piggy frisbee.

One minor criticism was that it was a touch dry. Very minor though.

Salad was good. Foodporntastic stuff all in all.

Edit: armstrong is TD's modern day PattayaPlies.

Not my work, PAG. The equivalent of about 11 English pounds from a restaurant in the Mother of the World.

Don't often eat Thai food, but once in a while:

A homemade Thai classic comes along, with an icy cold beer.

(I picked out the big stalky bit on top of the egg and wiped it on the bottom of the chair when the chef-ette wasn't looking.)

I love a bit of prik nam pla over the runny egg when I have krapow.

This inevitably results in "uh oh. Can eat sa-picy!"

Have enough in the fridge for lunch tomorrow. Thinking of serving it with Indian Roti, and a can of icy cold armstrong.

    Slender October Su Su!

My laab was normally served with a side of Isaan minge, but I can certainly see me going for a cheeky egg on top if we're ever allowed to actually travel to Thailand again.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
That looks great! Did you make it yourself or did you order out? Where I am in khon Kaen its an Ethnic food culinary wasteland. and cant find any of the nessacery ingredients to make some of these things myself. , I can't wait for covid travel restrictions to end, so I can take shopping trip to BKK and Europe.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

Some of you will laugh with me, cause I bet they are everywhere, but I never had them. I Bet there must be others who they might not had them before.
So I got these spiced pork kabobs from Macro the other day and today I decided to try them on the barbeque.
and they were surprisingly good. They are at the frozen pork section at Macro.

Ask your missus to get you some off the street. They're everywhere and only cost a few baht (she'll probably want the more exotic parts of the animal ).
