Homemade Chicken Jalfrezi with Pillau rice, Bombay potatoes , Pompadoms, Naam and lots of fresh coriander.
Comments were that it tasted better than the local curry house, that'll do for me.

Looks good to me M8.
I had exactly the same meal last night without the pompoms.
UB finally has a dedicated Mexican restaurant so I checked it out after work with a friend
Beef Stroganoff today, using the BBC recipe: Beef stroganoff recipe - BBC Good Food
I like it with tagliatelle and parsley added to the pot before serving. Mrs Troy took most of the cream sauce if you're wondering....
What is that sewer. JK. Beef strokemeoff is ok. Isn't much to look at though

Looks delicious, troll another thread skidmark
Only eaten beef strogonof once many moons ago in Spain.
The chef cooked it at our table and served it with rice.
One of my best ever meals, still memorable to this day 30 years on.
Yeah thats all im sayin. Beef strokemeoff just isn't the most aesthetically pleasing dish in the world. The picture also looks like those pics of food in elementary school text books. It just doesn't tickle your apatite
Most food on this thread does look damn good though.
IMO it looks fine. Anyway I don't make food to look at, or spend too much time admire the way it looks. . LOL
I haven't made it in ages, I don't know why I stopped making it , I always loved it.
I am glad you brought it back in my memory. I will make it again in the next few days. I love it with cracked pepper.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
Wife loved it so it'll be on the menu again soon. Next time I'll serve up on a bed of pasta to make it more pleasing to the eye
Tough bunch on here...
Thanks for the red Jeff you twat. Go clean your kitchen tiles you filthy pig.
^^^
Did I hear the word 'peas'!
A very nice from me too... I love those flat fish... flounder, sole, plaice, turbot, etc... and used to eat it loads when growing up in the UK, back when there were wet fishmongers in most of the villages.
Maybe a winter in Somerset won't be so bad after all...
