^Needed about a quarter of the amount of cheese, some pickles, jalapenos and some salad, you fat fucker![]()
There's never too much cheese, ever.
the pickles ain't doing so well, I was out of peppers and I would never foul a meatball sub with vegetables.
I'll take the fat fucker compliment! I've got to get out walking again for a couple of hours a day.
"I was a good student. I comprehend very well, OK, better than I think almost anybody," - President Trump comparing his legal knowledge to a Federal judge.
It was not my intent, this is a decision a person needs to arrive too on their own after they do their own do diligence,as I also had to, I will be 62 in june and for the biggest part pf my life I also rejected the idea. Also it has worked for me and my condition so far, who is to say that it will work for everyone.
And before I go tooting my own horn, lets see how long I will stick with it. I am dying for a good stake, a heaping plate of spaghetti and meatballs, or my favorite, stuffed tomatoes and peppers with rice and ground beef.
You need nice big tomatoes, they dont have to be the greatest as they will be baked
cut the top and save them for covers,
with a spoon scoop out the inside of the tomatoes being careful tot to break the skin
Pot the insides in a food processors with some dill, and chopped onions, and chop fine
place tomatoes in a tray with papers that you also cut the tops and clean the seeds inside
in a bowl, place chipped up tomato insides, onions and dill, add a can of tomato sauce, or juice,
olive oil, a cup of rice, and ground beef.
Stuff tomatoes and peppers with filling cover with tops , place remaining filling around the voids between tomatoes and peppers, and add a litle water
Bake at 400 F for about two hrs, until tomatoes and peppers start getting brown on top and on spots.
I tried making it without the ground beef but sadly, it was not the same
PS: for those who don't like Dill, cilantro or parsley works also.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
just as soon as I retire and have more time here year long, I will try to grow my own.
There are a lot of things I can live without but not good tomatoes,
Yesterday I found some half decent tomatoes on the vine at bigC in Khon Kaen, not big enough for stuffing but ok for a tomato salad with cucumbers, red onion, extra virgin olive oil , vinegar and salt, afterwards I dipped my bread in the juices. Arroy mak mak!!!!
It is very difficult to grow tomatoes in Thailand. There is a good thread here, but the money post is number 57.

I miss being a Mandalay expat but the food here is so much better than Myanmar food

A few more yea, I'll be off from it just to taste the change of life.
fish?

Who is to debate to origin?

Most is farm raised Salmon unfortunately.
Sadly I thought of my smokers for a fresh batch.
Thoughts of that hold me back from jumping ship.
Hey, pics to follow. No worries mate.
Do you line your garden with frisbees upside down filled with beer to keep the snails out?
When I lived in Port Orchard, the only tomatoes I could grow was cherry tomatoes and they went crazy. We tried planting several kinds of lettuce, but the snails got them. We decided it was cheaper to just buy it at the market.

When I had a garden it was full of snails but they didn't eat the tomatoes.
I had a brilliant idea of painting their shells with luminous paint so I could watch them moving at night.
But the shops wouldn't sell it to as they said they laws against retards and radioactive paint.
So it goes.
Orrens

That does look good. A green owed. Reds, yellows and purples as well.
Curious though, is that from a restaurant or did you make it yourself. Reason being is the wood platter with the knife cuts may hold enough bacteria if not washed properly between uses to kill a fish.
But you have been around and so I assume have built up a resistance to those encounters of that kind.
If it is a restaurant about how much for that type of meal.
Looks great.
Don't your mouth water when you look at that?
I came across a great Greek Recipe Exchange Group on facebook, For those who like cooking, there are some great recipes there. Take a look when you have time

Getting back to her roots.
I ask, what do you call it?
Dom bic dang, dom bic dumb. Don de dumb dumb. See hang? And some soom seed. Nam seed.
I can smell the spices in it.
Lasagna. Might be salty from all the sweat. Not the best day to be in a hot kitchen. Bake it up when it cools off a bit.![]()
...I hope that's not factory-grated Parmesan gluing the top down...
^That would be applied when served to taste
